This virus acts in the following manner:
It sends itself automatically to all contacts on your list with the title:
"A Card for You".
As soon as the supposed virtual card is opened the computer freezes so
that the user has to reboot. When the ctrl+alt+ del keys or the reset button
are pressed, the virus destroys Sector Zero, thus permanently destroying the
hard disk. Yesterday in just a few hours this virus caused panic in New York
, according to news broadcast by CNN.
This alert was received by an employee of Microsoft itself.
So don't open
any mails with subject: "A Virtual Card for You. " As soon as you get the
mail, delete it !!

It was a Cold and Wet October when Brands Hatch Played Host to the Formula Ford Festival in 2021 and Yet despite the Bad Weather it was a Very Important Year for the Festival as it was Celebrating its 50th Anniversary into the World of Motorsport.
Its Hard to Imagine that 50 Years Ago on July 2nd 1967 is when the First Official Race for Formula Ford took Place and with it came a Brand New Set of Rules Cars and Drivers all Competing to Earn their way into Formula 1 from Formula Ford.
With Such History and some Really Exciting Racing to look forward to Lets Turn our Attention to the Qualifying and See who Has come where and how this will Effect some of the Races Later Today.
BRSCC Formula Ford Festival (Qualifying Heat 1)
Formula Ford Racing Cars are built to be Very Nimble but also Very Fragile and when thease cars Race Close Together they Put on One Hell of a Good Show when they Visit Brands Hatch every Year and with this Year being the 50th Anniversary of the Series it made for a Special Weekend of History and Racing with a Tent in the Top Paddock Showcasing the Many Different Formula Fords thought History that Have both Raced and Won in the Hands of Many Great Former Champions.
Many of them all Have a Very Different Look and Design about them as each Driver and Team works together in order to try and Best Optimise the Airflow and Handling of their Cars.
During Qualifying Heat 1 there were Many Drivers all out there Pushing Hard and trying to get the Fastest Times they Possibly Could.
Lets Take a Look and See who took Pole Position for Race 1
In First Place was (Jamie Sharp) in his Medina Sport JL 17 with a Lap Time of 1:02.133 and a Top Speed of 69.98mph. Fantastic Driving there Jamie Really Pushing the Car and Giving it Everything you Have Got.
In Second Place was (Chris Middlehurst) in his Van Diemen LA10 with a Lap Time of 1:02.702 and a Top Speed of 69.35mph. Another Super Quick Drive from Chris for Second Place on the Grid and Only 0.569 of a Sec Gap.
In Third Place was (Jonathan Browne) in his Ray GR18 with a Lap Time of 1:02.744 and a Top Speed of 69.30mph. Fantastic work there Jonathan Really Working Hard to Keep that Formula Ford on the Track and Giving it Everything you Have Got.
Three Very Fast Drivers in Jamie, Chris, and Jonathan on Display after the First Qualifying Session and with Plenty More Action to Come it will be Interesting to see how Race 1 Develops. Will Jamie Sharp be able to Achieve Pole and take Home the First Trophy of the Day?
BRSCC Mazda MX5 Championship (Qualifying)
Next Up The Mazda MX5's Made their way onto the Circuit and with a Huge Grid of 34 Cars and Only One Man who could Achieve People Position the Battles During Qualifying for the Fastest Lap were Going to be Fast and Very In tense.
In First Place was (Steve Foden) in his MX5-MK1 with a Lap Time of 1:08.161 and a Top Speed of 63.79mph. Very Good work there Steve in Very Damp and Wet Conditions that was an Incredible Pole Position Lap.
In Second Place was (Brian Trott) in his Mazda MX5-MK1 with a Lap Time of 1:08.177 and a Top Speed of 63.78mph. Fantastic Work there Brian Pushing Hard and Making sure to Keep Pace with Steve.
In Third Place was (Michel Knibbs) in his Mazda MX5-MK1 with a Lap Time of 1:08.211 and a Top Speed of 63.75mph. Nice work there Michel a Very Good Drive for 3rd Position on the Grid.
Another Set of Fantastic Drivers in Steve, Brian and Michel All working Hard in order to ensure Victory Against their Fellow Competitors. Some Very Capable Drivers out there too. Good Luck to all other Competitors Competing and Keep Pushing Hard to ensure Victory. With More Action to Come on Sunday who will be able to Take Victory in Race 1? Only Time will Tell.

Next Up was the Mazda MX5 Clubman Championship and with Another Very Large Grid of 32 Cars this was going to be Another Really Intense Qualifying Session. With Every Driver Making there way out onto the Circuit and getting Ready to start their Flying Laps Lets Find out who came where and who will be on Pole Come Race 1.
In First Place was (Brad Jones) in his Mazda MX5-MK1 with a Lap Time of 1:09.188 and a Top Speed of 62.85mph. Well Done there Brad a Really Champion Like Drive from you to take Victory and Pole Position.
In Second Place was (Harry Storer) in his Mazda MX5-MK1 with a Lap Time of 1:09.415 and a Top Speed of 62.64mph. Very Well Driven there Harry Pushing the Car Hard and doing a Phenomenal Job of staying Close to Brad on Timing.
In Third Place was (Chris Dawkins) in his Mazda MX5-MK1 with a Lap Time of 1:09.540 and a Top Speed of 62.53mph. Another Great Drive from Chris Showing Really Amazing Skills and a Determination to Keep Hold of his Third Place.
A Super Exciting Qualifying Session for the Mazda Clubman Championship along with Three Very Fast and Capable Drivers in Brad, Harry and Chris. Looking Forward to Race 1 to see what thease Three Fantastic Drivers can do and Who else May be able to Steal Victory Away from them.

The Mazda Super Cup Championship was Next onto the Circuit and with Mazda MX5-MK3's Being used this Time Around it was going to make for Some Very Quick and Stirling Action thought the Qualifying Session to see who could Achieve Pole Position for the First Race for Super Cup.
In First Place Taking Pole and The Fastest Lap was (Declan Lee) in his Mazda MX5-MK3 with a Lap Time of 1.05.952 and a Top Speed of 65.93mph. Very Well Deserved there Declan an Amazing Drive with Some Very Fast Laps and Dedicated Commitment to take The Pole.
In Second Place was (Samuel Smith) in his Mazda MX5-MK3 with a Lap Time of 1:06.059 and a Top Speed of 65.82mph. Amazing work there Sam Really Fast Drive to take Second Place.
In Third Place was (Jack Harding) in his Mazda MX5-MK3 with a Lap Time of 1:06.208 and a Top Speed of 65.68mph. Great Work there Jack Keeping Up with both Samuel and Declan and Staying Very Close Together in the Top Three of Qualifying.
Three Fantastic Drivers in Declan Samuel and Jack all working Hard and Showing Real Competitiveness to Win and Dominate the entire Series. With Qualifying Second Fastest Coming Up Next it was Time Once Again to see what Each Driver could do Against the Clock.

In First Place was (Declan Lee) in his Mazda MX5-MK3 with a Lap Time of 1:06.307 and a Top Speed of 65.58mph. Another Huge Congratulations to Declan Who Once Again Has Taken Pole Position for Race 1 and will be starting on the Front Row. Amazing Work Declan.
In Second Place was (Richard Amos) in his Mazda MX5-MK3 with a Lap Time of 1:06.350 and a Top Speed of 65.54mph. Very Well Done Richard a Well Deserved Second Place on the Gird.
In Third Place was (James Cossins) in his Mazda MX5-MK3 with a Lap Time of 1:06.410 and a Top Speed of 65.48mph. Amazing Work James Beating Back Samuel to take 3rd Place on the Grid from Him.
Another Super Qualifying Session that Added some Real Twists to the Race and will no Doubt Make it even more Interesting to See other Drivers such as Jack and Samuel Having to Fight there way through the Gird in order to be in with a Chance of Getting on the Top Step of the Podium.

In First Place Taking the Win was (Jack Harding) in his Mazda MX5-MK3 with a Best Lap Time of 57.803 and an Average Speed of 57.32mph. What an Incredible Drive from Jack who Started in 8th Place and has come through to Claim His First Win of the Weekend. A Truly Magnificent Drive and a Well Deserving One. Congratulations Jack.

I love this quote. There's not a single person on this earth that's not important. There are days where I'm down and look in the mirror and wonder what I've done, then I think of this quote. The Doctor never fails to make me smile though, so maybe that's cheating.
I didn't sleep well last night, had to take down decorations at work today, and just all around didn't have the motivation to do anything spectacular, so the photo's a tad uninspired and over-edited, though I did get a good angle on the reflection.

An important crossing of the North Saskatchewan River, carrying the Yellowhead highway. The older concrete bowstring-arch bridge was built as a Depression make-work project and opened in 1937, replacing a ferry service. It was designed by Bev Evans for his master's thesis while a graduate student at the University of Saskatchewan. Construction took place between 1935 and 1937 by R. J. Arrand Company of Saskatoon. At 250 metres long, the bridge was the longest bow-string arch bridge in North America at construction.

Now it was Time to head Back to the Blue Badged Ford Machines Once again as the Modified Ford Series Rolled out onto the Race Track with each car being Heavily Modified from their Road Counterparts. With Escort Cosworth's and RS200's Roaring and Ready to go it was Time to see what the First Group A set of Drivers could do in Qualifying.

The Final Qualifying Session of the Day Had Come and its the Enduro KA'S. with all of the Cars on the Grid being Models of the Popular Ford KA made Between 1998-2009 thease Cars were Fun City cars that could get you from A to B with Ease. They were Also Build on a tight budget meaning that Handling Performance and Comfort were a Big Selling point of thease Brilliant little cars.
The Racing Versions seen here in the pictures however are built for Racing. they use different tyres but still the same Legendary 1.3 Dura Tec Engine found in their Road Going Counterparts.

In Third Place was (Alex Reade Motorsport's Luke Reade and Chris Reade) with a Lap Time of 1:03.606 and an Average Speed of 67.44mph. Very Good Come Back Drive for Both Luke and Ale to Finish Third Great Driving.
Many Twists and Turns Have Benn brought into Race 3 with the Top Three Drivers now being Shuffled Around the Gird into different Positions. With One More Race to Go who will be The Last Driver of the Day on the Top Step of the Podium.

These important cultural ties were emphasized during a visit by an expert from the State Department in Washington.
Dr. Catherine Foster, who works in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, met with the Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, other government officials, archaeologists, and cultural heritage experts to discuss the Memorandum of Understanding on Cultural Property between the United States and Cambodia, which has been in place since 2003.
Dr. Foster also made site visits to Preah Vihear, Koh Ker, and Sambor Prei Kuk.

Reting Monastery is an historically important Buddhist monastery in Lhünzhub County in the Lhasa Prefecture of central Tibet. It is also commonly spelled "Radreng."
Reting Monastery was founded by Atisha's chief disciple Dromtönpa in 1057 in the Reting Tsampo Valley north of Lhasa as the seat of the Kadampa lineage. He brought some of Atisha's relics with him. It was the first major monastery of the Sarma revival.
Tsongkapa (1357 – 1419) reformed the Kadampa School which then became known as the Gelug School and Reting became an important Gelugpa monastery, the seat of the Reting Rinpoche.
The Reting Rinpoches were responsible for the successful search and discovery of the 14th Dalai Lama. The Reting Rinpoches were among the candidates for Regent during the minority of a Dalai Lama. Thus, the Reting Rinpoche was Regent between 1845 and 1855 and, again, from 1933-1947. The latter Regent, the Fifth Reting Rinpoche, was involved in the search for the present Dalai Lama and became his Senior Tutor, later abdicated his position and was found guilty of colluding with the Chinese and died in a Tibetan prison in 1947. In fact his Shugdenpa accusers who were in power are generally held responsible for his murder while colluding with the Chinese Ambon. They also destroyed the Gelug Reting Monastery and killed many in Lhasa. The political confusion which followed aided the rapid collapse of Tibet after the Chinese invaded.
The Sixth Reting Rinpoche died in 1997. The Chinese announced in January 2001 that a new incarnation had been chosen as the Seventh Reting Rinpoche, just two days after the Karmapa Lama began his flight to India. This incarnation has not been recognised by the Dalai Lama who believes he is a pawn in the attempt by the Chinese to control the Buddhist religion in Tibet.
Reting was devastated by the Red Guards during the Cultural Revolution, and has only been partially restored.

The first monastery here, founded in about 657, became one of the most important religious centres in the Anglo-Saxon world. In 664 it was the setting for the Synod of Whitby, a landmark in the history of the Church in England. The headland is now dominated by the shell of the 13th-century church of the Benedictine abbey founded after the Norman Conquest.
In about 1078 a monk called Reinfrid founded a new monastic community at Whitby. At a very early stage in its history this community split and the two parts each developed into a fully fledged Benedictine monastery: one on the headland at Whitby and the other at St Mary’s Abbey, York.
The Benedictine monastery initially probably had timber buildings or reused the Anglian ruins on the headland. About 1100 a stone church and conventual buildings were built in the Romanesque style, as well as a large parish church close by.
In the 13th century the monastery church was rebuilt in the Gothic style. This was a massive undertaking, including major landscaping of the whole site, though there is no documentary evidence for it. The first building campaign is dated on stylistic grounds to about 1225–50. The eastern arm, the crossing and transepts, a central tower, and part of the nave were built before funds seem to have run out.
Work appears to have been resumed on the nave in the 14th century, but it was not finished until the 15th century. The only documentary evidence is a grant of permission for a monk of Whitby to embark on a fundraising campaign in 1338, recorded in the Whitby Cartulary (a compilation of the charters by which the monastery had been given property and legal privileges). The remains of the nave have been loosely dated on the basis of architectural style.
There were doubtless extensive monastic buildings south of the abbey church, but they were almost completely demolished after the abbey’s suppression in 1539.
After the Suppression Sir Richard Cholmley (d.1578) bought the abbey’s buildings and the core of its estates. The Cholmley family adapted part of the abbot's lodgings into a house.
This was only one of the Cholmleys’ residences. Originally from Cheshire, they had already become major landowners in Yorkshire. Sir Hugh Cholmley I (1600–57) played a notable part in the Civil War (1642–51), defending Scarborough Castle for the king before surrendering it in 1645, after which Parliamentarian troops captured and looted the Abbey House at Whitby.
After the war Sir Hugh Cholmley II (1632–89) did much to restore the family estates and added a grand new wing (c 1672), known locally as the Banqueting House, to the Abbey House. He laid out a new entrance courtyard to provide a formal approach and setting.
In the 18th century the Cholmleys moved away, abandoning the Abbey House. The roof of the 1670s wing is said to have been removed after storm damage in the late 18th century.
The shell of the abbey church was substantially complete until the 18th century. It was weakened, however, by erosion from wind and rain. The south transept collapsed in 1736, much of the nave in 1763, the central tower in 1830 and the south side of the presbytery in 1839.
From the early 19th century Whitby became a popular seaside resort, with new terraces laid out on the West Cliff. The abbey ruins became a tourist destination, and rising interest in the site was recorded in numerous engravings and paintings. The publication of Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula in 1897 gave Whitby a major literary association, ensuring that the sinister count would forever be associated with the town.
Ownership of the abbey ruins passed to the Strickland family, who were descendants of the Cholmleys. About 1880 Charles (later Sir Charles) Strickland added a wing to the surviving part of the Abbey House, to adapt it for occasional use as a holiday residence.
In 1914 the German High Seas Fleet shelled Whitby and struck the abbey ruins, causing considerable damage to the west front, though this was later repaired. In 1920 the Strickland family handed the abbey over to the Ministry of Works, and over the following decade Sir Charles Peers directed major excavations at the site, uncovering evidence of the Anglian settlement here.

The Temple Mount, known in Judaism as Har haBáyit and in Arabic as the Haram al-Sharif , is one of the most important religious sites in the Old City of Jerusalem. It has been used as a religious site for thousands of years. At least four religions are known to have used the Temple Mount: Judaism, Christianity, Roman religion, and Islam.
Judaism regards the Temple Mount as the place where God chose the Divine Presence to rest (Isa 8:18); according to the rabbinic sages whose debates produced the Talmud, it was from here the world expanded into its present form and where God gathered the dust used to create the first man, Adam. The site is the location of Abraham's binding of Isaac, and of two Jewish Temples. According to the Bible the site should function as the center of all national life—a governmental, judicial and, of course, religious center (Deut 12:5-26; 14:23-25; 15:20; 16:2-16; 17:8-10; 26: 2; 31: 11; Isa 2: 2-5; Oba 1:21; Psa 48). During the Second Temple Period it functioned also as an economical center. From that location the word of God will come out to all nations, and that is the site where all prayers are focused. According to Jewish tradition and scripture (2 Chronicles 3:1-2), the first temple was built by Solomon the son of David in 957 BCE and destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BCE. The second was constructed under the auspices of Zerubbabel in 516 BCE and destroyed by the Roman Empire in 70 CE. Jewish tradition maintains it is here the Third and final Temple will also be built. The location is the holiest site in Judaism and is the place Jews turn towards during prayer. Among Sunni Muslims, the Mount is widely considered the third holiest site in Islam. Revered as the Noble Sanctuary (Bait-ul-Muqaddas) and the location of Muhammad's journey to Jerusalem and ascent to heaven, the site is also associated with Jewish biblical prophets who are also venerated in Islam. After the Muslim conquest of Jerusalem in 637 CE, Umayyad Caliphs commissioned the construction of the al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock on the site. The Dome was completed in 692 CE, making it one of the oldest extant Islamic structures in the world, after the Kaabah. The Al Aqsa Mosque rests on the far southern side of the Mount, facing Mecca. The Dome of the Rock currently sits in the middle, occupying or close to the area where the Bible mandates the Holy Temple be rebuilt.
