Implied direction #1- I put my piece in front of arched windows because my piece has lots of arches, and I have a "window" cut out of the large half-circle. I lined up the horizontal base with the horizon line. On the bottom right there are lots of short verticals in the sculpture which line up with verticals on the building.
In this photo implied lines are used with both the subjects looking down. This picture was not set up, but I did edit it changing the tint. I chose this picture because its intense but at the same time is a relaxing feeling.
For this picture I wanted it to feel kind of dreamy so I made everything blue and had the shadows as dark as they would go. Also, I made sure that it was slightly out of focus to get that foggy dream feeling.
This picture represents line of sight because the chains from the swing and the poles show a line even though one isn't actually present.
There are implied lines from the little boy to the bubbles, from the younger girl to the bubbles, and from the older girl to the little boy.
Set 3: Line - This is a picture of our cat Fuzzy looking off to the left. It's an example of implied line because the subject is drawing your attention to another part of the picture, or off frame.
