I took this picture of my best friends boyfriend and thought that this was a good picture to use for implied lines because hes looking at his pizza.

This macro shot has a great implied line created by the teeth of the comb. This picture also has repetition of shape with the circles placed at the end of the teeth of the comb. However, i think what really makes this photo is the depth of field as well as its simplicity. The color of the comb also contrasts against the background colors.

One of a series of photos taken for Project 29 "applying elements of design" for the OCA The Art of Photography course.

These photos were all taken within the confines of the 2nd Quad at Jesus College Oxford where my daughter has just completed her first year. Some of these images show the students as they involve themselves in a 1st year "Trashing" of a student who has completed his first year exams.

Create 1 photograph that creates interest or raises a question by foregrounding implied line(s), while demonstrating something you learned in this week's lecture.

After looking at different methods of art work I found a method called implied lines where the image is made with just lines to implie that the image or shape is there, I decided to try this method through illustrator and created this image of a hand by filling in where the shadow would be.
