This series of (5) shots almost reads like a flip book... Thanks for your indulgence; I tried to be selective! =^..^=
"How delicate the tracery of her fine lines
Like the moonlight lacetops of the evening pines
Like a song half heard through a closed door
Like an old book when you cannot read the writing anymore
How innocent her visage as my child lover lies
Pressed against the rainswept windy windows of my eyes
Like an antique etching glass design
That somehow turned out wrong
I keep looking through old varnish
At my late lover's body
Caught on ancient canvas
And decaying...disappearing
Even as I sing this song
How secretly and silently my sorrow disappears
You can't see it with your eyes or hear it with your ears
It's like a Watermark that's never there and never really gone
I keep looking through old varnish
At my late lover's body
Caught on ancient canvas
And decaying...disappearing
Even as I sing this song
Even as I sing this song
Even as I sing this song"

”Imaginary Landscape — Brown” — An imaginary landscape based on materials from the desert.
This imaginary landscape — an image produced by manipulating photographic materials — riffs on the subject of playa mud. Here the semi-circular forms in the lower 2/3 of the frame interested me, obviously along with the shapes and textures of the died mud.
As I worked on (a.k.a. “played with”) this image, I ended up retaining a version of the original colors of the playa, though greatly intensified. The color and texture almost suggests leather to me. While the playa mud retained colors not too far removed from the original, other elements were transformed as I worked — shadows became highlights and bits of other material and plantlife interrupted the smoother texture of the mud.
let's hear it for the IFF. now I need to get working on a wallet design for andrew and a t-shirt for adam.

Think about how many kids have their imaginery friend. One who will be there for them, one who will be by their side when they need them. But when we grow up, we somehow decide to trade our imaginery friends for feeling alone, for despair and self-criticism. This may not be the greatest photo in the world, but it‘s actually so much more about the message: Be your own friend. Treat yourself with kindness. Speak to yourself like you would to a friend. And always, always remember: you are not alone in this.
~ Photography, as we all know, is not real at all. It is an illusion of reality with which we create our own private world ~

Je n'ai pas touché au nuage, il s'est formé ainsi, je le trouve juste extraordinaire.
I did not touch the cloud, it so formed, I find it just extraordinary.
No toqué a la nube, se formó así, lo encuentro justo extraordinario.

I had this dream and there was a king and he was looking at the sky
and the sky turned around and looked at him and said, "King, you don't
know what it's like to rule, you only know about time, and time is
going to kill you. And you know what king, time is imaginary."
