After heavy rain, a puddle formed at the base of this palm frond. By photographing it from this POV, I was able to get another frond reflected in the pool. In my opinion, the overall image resembles a bug-eyed Dr Seuss character,

Hi Everyone!
This is reflection of shimmery water which first of all required the removal of a tons of cattails. Then I flipped and elongated the image to create the "treeline," then pulled a few sliders here and there using Adobe Elements 15 and Topaz Studio. Happy Slider's Sunday! HSS!

that you inflame the last loves;
soul of light, music and flowers

Fly over the lonely rock
that bathes the glacial sea of pain;
there is, to your weight, a beam of splendors,
on the lonely stark rock...

like divine host, wing so light...
Like a snowflake; divine wing,
snowflake, lily, host, mist,
peregrine imaginary dove...

A Thermodynamic Imaginary, which includes two projected video works that are also described here. Its mystifying, suspended geometries of fantastic angles and curvatures cast their shadows in an ever-changing lightscape, where all is floating, revealing, enlarging, and fading away. In the dispersal of light, visitors confuse their shadows with their neighbors’ as gestures overlap, mirror, and intersect in a black-and-white scenography. Bodies and sculptures merge with the other entities in the room, be they human or nonhuman, organic or constructed.
