Unter dem Namen "Absolute World" schrauben sich zwei organisch geschwungene Wohntürme in Mississauga bei Toronto dem Himmel entgegen: der eine 50, der andere 56 Stockwerke hoch.
Wegen ihrer Kurven von Einheimischen auch »Marilyn Monroe Towers« genannt, greifen sie mit ihrer Form geschwungene Linien auf, wie sie auch in der Natur zu finden sind.
Mich faszinieren besonders die durchlaufenden Balkone, die sich um jede Etage wickeln und jedem Bewohner jederzeit einen 360° Rundumblick ermöglichen. Sie sollen den Lebensraum der Bewohner erweitern und die Gemeinschaft innerhalb des Mikrokosmos einer Wohnetage fördern.
Was mag das für ein Gefühl sein, auf dem offenen Balkon an der Glasbrüstung in der 56. Etage zu stehen und sich den Wind um die Nase wehen zu lassen ...

As you can see on my stream, I have not included human being as the main subjects.... From now onwards, I'm thinking of adding different shots of people and portraiture...

While looking at other photographers work I often wonder what was behind them as they were taking the shot. More of that wonderful scenery or maybe a shopping centre or a parking lot! This shot is a case in point. directly behind me is a busy main road with a shopping centre across from that. Just over the trees to the right of shot is a large industrial estate and one hundred metres to the left is the busy New England Highway. Shot at Thornton, New South Wales. Australia.
