Sunset in Fire Valley (shame there was no clouds). Shot with a Samsung NX30 and a Triggertrap. The frames where triggered with TriggerTrap the smartphone time-lapse app that works with a range of different cameras. Triggertrap is really simple but there is a whole range of settings to tweak so you can get super creative.
Police office standing next pile of clothes left by a man who jumped off the end of Worthing Pier Yesterday (29th December).
There was a bit of tense moment on Worthing Pier yesterday afternoon. Just as we got on the pier police officers starting flooding the pier talking about reports of someone jumping into the sea. By the time we got the end of the pier there was a group of people all looking out to see, just visible to the eye was a tiny dot that turned out to be jumpers head. From the moment I first saw the police it took 15 minutes for the RNLI's Shoreham inshore lifeboat to reach him. To be honest I did not think he was going to make it but he did was taken to hospital in a non life threatening condition.

Bridge over the river Rhine. Does not quite have the same ring to it? Currently in Colone for Photokina by Samsung's invitation as part of the Image Logger program. This was shot on the Samsung Galaxy NX, still my favorite Samsung camera as it runs Android, as I can't use my home phone for internet I got a pay as you go Data sim for it. 4G speeds are amazing, I currently using as WiFi hot spot for my laptop. We got up at 5am to shot the sunrise in an Aspen (Colorado) valley. Originally we were meant to go to a lake but the road leading to was blocked by snow. This was the second option and unfortunately we did not get to see the sunrise over the mountain. Very cold but worth it. Shot with a Samsung NX30 and the frames where triggered with a TriggerTrap the smart phone time-lapse app that works with a range of different cameras. Tirggertap is really simple but there is a whole range of settings to tweak so you can get super creative with time-lapses and other ways of triggering a camera.

My first shot from this amazing camera/smartphone/tablet taken using the default 16:9 format that matches the remarkable 4.8 inch screen on the back of the camera. At 16;9 the resolution is 16mp but the sensor is the same 20mp sensor from the NX300. I'll switch up to full res at 3:2 soon once I get over this brilliant display and start using the viewfinder :-)
