I love Adobe Ilustrator. My Photoshop skills are lacking, however. I actually drew this by hand with a Sharpie and then modified it with Illustrator. There is probably an easier way, but this is the way I have learned by trying to make printable patterns from my hand-drawn doll clothes pattern pieces.

Battle of Vauchamps (14 February 1814)
The Battle of Vauchamps was the culminating fight of Napoleon’s Six Days’ Campaign. After beating parts of Blücher’s Army of Silesia at Champaubert, Montmirail, and Château-Thierry (10–13 February), Napoleon turned on Blücher’s main force near Vauchamps and Étoges on 14 February. Marshal Marmont’s outnumbered VI Corps initially fell back, drawing the Prusso-Russian vanguard onto ground where Napoleon could strike with Guard infantry, powerful artillery under Drouot, and massed cavalry under Grouchy. Once the French counter-attack developed, Blücher ordered a retreat east; French cavalry relentlessly harried the columns and squares across muddy winter fields, inflicting very heavy losses compared with relatively light French casualties. The result was a clear French victory and the dislocation of the Army of Silesia, allowing Napoleon to pivot south against Schwarzenberg in the following days.
The Silesian Rifles (Schlesische Schützen) at Vauchamps
Contemporary and later illustrations spotlight the Schlesische Schützen (Prussian light infantry) fighting at Vauchamps—specifically under Hauptmann (Captain) von Neumann—as referenced in period captions and later reproductions. This is the unit later known as Jäger-Bataillon “von Neumann” (1. Schlesisches) Nr. 5, whose wartime origins go back to 1808.
R. Knötel (Richard Knötel, 1857–1914)
Knötel was a German military artist and illustrator, often called a founder/pioneer of Uniformenkunde (the scholarly study of military uniforms). Trained in Berlin and active from the 1880s, he produced thousands of plates and paintings—most famously the vast series “Uniformenkunde”—which remain standard references for researchers and reenactors. He collaborated with fellow artist Carl Röchling on popular illustrated histories and amassed an enormous reference library to underpin his exacting detail. Knötel died in Berlin in 1914.

Schlacht bei Vauchamps (14. Februar 1814)
Die Schlacht bei Vauchamps bildete den Abschluss von Napoleons Sechs-Tage-Feldzug. Nachdem Napoleon Blüchers Schlesische Armee bei Champaubert, Montmirail und Château-Thierry (10.–13. Februar) geschlagen hatte, traf er am 14. Februar bei Vauchamps/Étoges auf deren Hauptkräfte. Marschall Marmonts zunächst zurückweichendes VI. Korps lockte die Vorhut des Gegners in eine Lage, in der Napoleon mit Gardetruppen, Drouots starker Artillerie und Grouchys massierter Kavallerie losschlug. Bei einsetzender französischer Gegenoffensive befahl Blücher den Rückzug nach Osten; französische Kavallerie setzte den preußisch-russischen Kolonnen und Karrees in schwerem Wintergelände hart zu. Ergebnis: französischer Sieg mit hohen Verlusten auf Koalitionsseite und geringen auf französischer Seite; die Schlesische Armee wurde desorganisiert, sodass Napoleon sich anschließend gegen Schwarzenberg wenden konnte.

R. Knötel (Richard Knötel, 1857–1914)
Knötel war deutscher Militärmaler, Lithograf und Illustrator und gilt als Begründer/Vordenker der wissenschaftlichen Uniformenkunde. Seit den 1880er Jahren veröffentlichte er tausende Tafeln und Gemälde (besonders die Reihe „Uniformenkunde“), die bis heute Standardwerke sind. Er arbeitete u. a. mit Carl Röchling zusammen und stützte sich auf eine riesige Fachbibliothek. Knötel starb 1914 in Berlin.

Bitka kod Vauchampsa vrhunac je Napoleonove Šestodnevne kampanje. Nakon pobjeda nad dijelovima Blücherove Šleske vojske kod Champauberta, Montmiraila i Château-Thierryja (10.–13. II.), Napoleon je 14. veljače udario na glavne snage u okolici Vauchampsa i Étogesa. Marmontovo VI. korpus, u početku nadjačano, planski se povlačilo dok Napoleon nije stigao s Gardom, topništvom (Drouot) i snažnom konjicom (Grouchy). U trenutku francuske protunastupnice Blücher je naredio povlačenje na istok; francuska konjica je u blatu i zimi neprekidno pritiskala kolone i četvore, nanijevši vrlo teške gubitke uz relativno male francuske. Ishod: francuska pobjeda i rasulo Šleske vojske, što je Napoleonu omogućilo zaokret na jug protiv Schwarzenberga.
