Deseo borrar la figura tu cuerpo
desnudo, beso a beso
centímetro a centímetro, con esta
lujuria desenfrenada de mi deseo.
Acurrucarme, sombra de tus senos
acariciarlos, entretenerlos
perder sentido del tiempo existente.
Te deseo tanto, besar el frió hueco
de tu espalda y enloquecer
con el sudor de tus caderas.
Te deseo tanto, sentir tu cuerpo
agitado al mío y sentir tu
vientre caliente como el fuego
este deseo carnal viviente.
Te deseo temblando, con pasión
y delirio sentir cada latido
de tu corazón pegado al mio
este retorcido deseo desmedido.
Y penetrar mis labios en medio
del Edén tus piernas y beber
hasta la última gota,
dulce cáliz de tus deseos.

William Simpson (1823–1899)
William Simpson was a prominent Scottish painter, war correspondent, and illustrator of the Victorian era. Known by the nickname "Crimean Simpson," he is remembered as one of the first "special artists" who relayed news from battlefields and remote corners of the world through visual reports for The Illustrated London News.
Early Life and Rise to Fame
Born into a poor family in Glasgow, Simpson began his career as an apprentice in a lithographic printing house. His talent for precise drawing quickly took him to London, and he gained international fame during the Crimean War (1853–1856). His depictions of the Siege of Sevastopol became legendary historical illustrations, valued for an authenticity that photography of the time could not yet achieve in the field.
Indian Expedition and the "Ganges" Cycle (1859–1862)
Following the Crimean War, the publishing house Day & Son commissioned Simpson for an ambitious project to document India in the immediate aftermath of the Indian Rebellion of 1857.
Documenting the Sacred Ganges
During a three-year stay, Simpson traveled across the subcontinent, but his most significant work is tied to the Ganges River.
•Varanasi (Benares): His watercolors of the ghats in Benares are considered masterpieces of topographical art. He meticulously recorded ritual bathings, religious processions, and temple architecture, providing the British public with its first true insight into complex Indian spirituality.
•Ethnographic Approach: Unlike his contemporaries, Simpson approached his subjects with respect. He recorded the specifics of folk costumes, crafts, and daily life with almost scientific accuracy.
•From the Himalayas to Bengal: He followed the river's course from its glacial sources in the Himalayas, where he painted rugged mountain passes, down to the fertile plains, creating a visual bridge between traditional India and the emerging British Raj.
Professional Tragedy
Simpson prepared an impressive 250 watercolors for the monumental work "India Ancient and Modern." However, due to the publisher's bankruptcy, the project collapsed. Only 50 lithographs were published in 1867, which the artist considered the greatest disappointment of his career.
Career Peak and the Russo-Turkish War (1877)
The year 1877 marked another turning point. As an experienced correspondent, Simpson was sent to the battlefields of the Russo-Turkish War.
•War Reporting: He followed the movement of armies in the Balkans and the Caucasus. His sketches from 1877 were not just works of art but primary sources of information. He worked under harsh conditions, often under fire, to capture the reality of muddy trenches and suffering, rejecting the era's common practice of glorifying war.
•Archaeology and Travel: Taking advantage of the opportunity, he documented archaeological sites in Greece and Asia Minor. His interest in "antiquities" made him a unique blend of journalist and researcher.
Style and Technique
Simpson was a master of watercolor, a technique that allowed him to quickly capture changing light and atmosphere. His process included:
1.Quick field sketches: Done in pencil or ink, often with handwritten notes about colors and materials.
2.Finishing the watercolors: Completed in calmer conditions, ensuring topographical precision.
3.Engraving: His works were sent to London, where they were transformed into wood engravings for mass printing.
Legacy
William Simpson passed away in 1899 in London. His legacy is not only artistic; his works today serve as invaluable historical archives documenting the architecture, customs, and military tactics of the 19th century, from the banks of the Ganges to the mountains of the Balkans.
William Simpson (1823. – 1899.)
Rani život i uspon
– 1856.). Njegovi prikazi opsade Sevastopolja postali su legendarne povijesne ilustracije, cijenjene zbog autentičnosti koju fotografija tog vremena još nije mogla postići na terenu.
Indijska ekspedicija i ciklus "Ganges" (1859. – 1862.)
Dokumentiranje svetog Gangesa
Vrhunac karijere i Rusko-turski rat (1877.)
Stil i tehnika
