MUST IN LARGE

Found this vertical take - straight up. The beams are natural and come off the strong lights that fire up the Petronas towers.

no hdr !

The sun ignites the clouds below it as if they, and the water, itself, were on fire.

#Flame

This was more difficult than I thought it would be ;)

Flame itself is nice, but i thought ignition and some sparkle could make the photo more interesting.

Ignition plugs in a very old car

HMM

A recent trip to Meols beach at high tide hoping for a sunset. It looked like it wasn't going to happen and then the sun just dropped below the dense cloud and ignited the scene before us. I just never tire of this location.

Just seemed to happen when I was using a crystal ball yesterday. (Tools used to create: Maglite, Crystal Ball, Glitter, & DSLR). No Photoshop was used.

Macro Mondays: "Matchstick"

Caught this just at the start of the burn, after pulling the starter match out of frame.

The image is about 7 cm (2.75 inches) square.

Today I decided to go for a more shadowy picture, I wanted to try a few new things since I have been trying to practice more Clip Studio along side with photoshop. I want to thank my love for been helping through this whole process too ♥

This was one of my favorite shots from my recent trip to the Udvar-Hazy Center, a branch of the National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, Virginia. The frame centers on the engines of the Space Shuttle Discovery. These engines were so successful in the space shuttle program, NASA will be using the same designs for their Space Launch System (SLS), the successor to the now retired space shuttle.

Using an ultra-wide lens, I was able to capture not only the symmetry of the shuttle's design but the symmetry of the hangar that this giant now resides in. The lighting beneath the shuttle adds a dramatic flair making this an awesome subject to shoot!

Previously unpublished shot from October 2017. Wishing you all a fantastic weekend of photography. Stay safe and keep warm my Flickr friends.

These chrysanthemums look like they were engineered for drama petals streaked in molten red and chrome yellow, radiating outward like a controlled explosion. The color pattern feels mechanical, almost automotive, echoing the same kind of precision you’d see in a Camaro’s paint scheme or a jet’s afterburner flare. It’s nature flexing its design language in the same way performance machines do: bold, unapologetic, and built to turn heads.

The composition is tight and intimate, letting the viewer feel the texture of each petal. The shallow depth of field isolates the blooms, turning the background into a soft blur that amplifies the intensity of the color. The green centers act as ignition points the heart of the combustion while the petals flare outward like exhaust plumes. It’s floral art with horsepower.

Inserting the key and turning this ignition switch on is where all the fun begins on my bike!

"Like in a car?"

"More like setting a city on fire... But whatever floats your boat."

Yeah... Who wouldn't want a hardsuit with a freaking flamethrower? I'm extremely satisfied with this guy. I think it is my favorite thing I've made, ever. Not much else to say.

So what do you guys think?
