Posting some old stuff before new new adventures arise.
On that April 10th we had the plan to go up the mountains of Tehran. This is one of the northern suburbs of Tehran, called Tajrish.
The Tochal Telecabin were under maintenance so we couldn't go up the mountains. I think it was a monday. I wasn't in good shape in Tehran. I think I ate something wrong because I was shitting the entire week. Dirty stinky shit. I did finish the I Run Iran race but man I felt bad. Next time I will stick to fried chicken. Nothing can go wrong with true Iranian fried chicken.
We walked up the mountains a bit and then took a taxi back to
Tajrish Square. The taxi driver was really funny, he told us everything was way better before this regime. He told us there was much more booze and 'cabaret'. I think he meant prostitutes.
International Finance Centre (IFC)
Today, the weather turned bad again because of the haze. So any shots in HK with a good view are "impossible" to make. That's why I decided to look around in Central, luckily I found this location!
A prominent landmark on Hong Kong Island, it consists of two skyscrapers, the ifc mall, and the 55-storey Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong. Tower 2 is the tallest building in Hong Kong, usurping the place once occupied by Central Plaza. It is the third-tallest building in the Greater China region and the seventh-tallest office building in the world, based on structural heights; by roof height, only the Shanghai World Financial Center, Taipei 101 and Sears Tower exceed it. The International Commerce Centre, currently under construction above the MTR Kowloon station and scheduled for completion in 2010, will usurp 2IFC's various titles. The Airport Express Hong Kong Station is directly beneath it.

IFC twin towers in Lujiazui.
"The Shanghai IFC development blends with the Lujiazui financial zone cityscape. The mall with a diamond-like appearance will glitter with the vibrancy of the city, with opulent interiors framing the most stylish shopping environment. Shanghai ifc mall will be one of the foremost luxury shopping destinations in the world." Infotext from the ifc mall website.
I guess today it already is?!
