The twin towers of the IFC complex in Shanghai Pudong. Left is 2IFC, the right tower is the "new" HSBC Tower (the former HSBC Tower is now occupied by the Hang Seng Bank). The lower parts are occupied by the IFC Mall - and an underground Apple store.
The "IFC" name and the style of the letters are same as Hong Kong's IFC - because it's the same Hong Kong based investor.
Between the two IFC towers the Shanghai Center peeks through.

A small side lobby in the eastern part of the Shanghai IFC Mall, a rather upscale shopping mall in the Lujiazui financial district.
The "Hongkou" location name assigned by flickr maps is pretty wrong, btw.

The HSBC Tower was finished first, now also construction on 2IFC is finished. The lower parts are occupied by the IFC Mall - and the underground Apple store. The "IFC" name and the style of the letters are same as Hong Kong's IFC - because it's the same Hong Kong based investor.
Because the Apple of the Apple Store is way too bright, this image is merged from 2 exposures.

Sobre las 12 del mediodía la luz hace presencia en el interior del cañón a través de la estrecha grieta que da a la superficie.
View from the rooftop of Miramar Hotel new year party where we greeted year 2008. Miramar is located in Tsim Sha Tsui along Nathan Road. This is the first time Hong Kong celebrated the new year (gregorian calendar) with fireworks. Rumors has it that it will become a tradition. The building with fireworks sticking out from its sides is IFC 2, the tallest building in Hong Kong.
