This is a batch of laser-cut boxes and markers to hold some previously turned projects.
Our church participated in our town’s Fourth of July celebration with a table to provide information about ourselves to the community. As an attraction, the organizers wanted to have a prize wheel and give away some prizes. I was asked if I would be willing to contribute to this effort. I have previously posted pictures of the items that I provided, specifically 1) an ice cream scoop and stand, 2) A coffee scoop and stand, 3) A pair of bottle stoppers, 4) A mesquite pill holder key ring, and 5) A resin and mesquite toothpick holder and keyring.
Some presentation boxes were needed for these projects, so I laser cut the boxes and tokens (with the church name on the front and address and service times on the back). Mostly worked out well. One little flaw, I had intended to provide a bottle opener and bottle stopper but failed to verify the bottle opener diameter before cutting the stand, so that gift became two bottle stoppers. The pictures also show the toothpick holder box lid labeled as a pill holder. I caught this while giving the pieces to the organizer and cut a corrected lid, just didn’t have a chance to get a corrected picture.
