swedrunner: Härligt jobbat o gott med semester 😃 Tycker också speedcrossen gör sig väldigt bra i de flesta terränger med bra grepp, men på våta stenar o klippor är de riktigt farliga o dåliga tycker jag. Springer med icebug som har rb9x gummi och har ett perfekt grepp på våta stenar 👍

swedrunner: Om det inte regnat precis innan, eller under tävlingen skulle jag köra i speedcrossen! Men omvänt skulle jag definitivt inte använda dem då jag fattat att det är mycket spångar, berg o stenar som blir såphala vid vått underlag

after our winter of endless snowstorms [1,2], i looked into shoes for running on ice and in snow and found a swedish company called icebug that specializes in shoes with carbide-tip traction studs embedded in the soles. amazon had this pair of last year's Icebug Men's Pytho2 BUGrip Running Shoe on sale for $32 and free shipping. not that i want to be snowed-in and go ice-hiking to buy groceries any time soon...

we had some urgent documents to send, i enjoyed using my ice running shoes to get to the UPS drop box downtown. the UPS truck made its scheduled pickup on-time, but the package did not leave portland until 8pm the following night, most likely due to this all-evening traffic jam

sequoia wouldn't wear a helmet, so we only took him to the bottom of the stairs for a quick peek inside the icy and very slippery lava tube. had i realized we were going to get a chance to walk on ice, i would've brought my new and yet-untested icebug ice shoes.
