Sandburg hosted the annual back-to-school extravaganza in the form of Fall Fest on Wednesday, Aug. 27 on the E Loft Patio. In addition to free food, fun, music and games, President Sundberg and several staff participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
My ALS Ice Bucket Challenge super super slow motion down to 4% of its normal play back speed with a Creative Twist put together using Adobe software Prem Pro,After Effects and Adobe Audition to edit the music in and shoot with a Canon 60D using Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 lens at 60fps

My dear daughter, Bethan, nominated me for the Ice Bucket Challenge. Donating to the Motor Neurone Disease Association was the easy bit. Capturing a video unaided was a bit more tricky, especially as it was raining! However, thankfully I cleaned the shower room window the other day, so could shoot through that, attaching my D90 to one of Mike's light stands with my Gorillapod, as my tripod is in Oxford. I had to do a few different attempts, because I pressed the wrong button for video on the camera the first time (but caught it with my iPhone - which was upside down, but Flickr cleverly turned the video the right way up!). I never thought that my penguin ice bucket would have this use as its first public outing. I really prefer the way I usually use ice, but you'll be glad to know that I recycled the ice a few times, and eventually used some in my cocktail of the day ;-)
PS Mum and I braved the rain to go to the Rose & Crown for lunch, but Olive didn't want to come.
