The Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. It is located in County Antrim on the north coast of Northern Ireland, about three miles northeast of the town of Bushmills. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 and a national nature reserve by the Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland in 1987. In a 2005 poll of Radio Times readers, the Giant's Causeway was named the fourth-greatest natural wonder in the United Kingdom. The tops of the columns form stepping stones that lead from the cliff foot and disappear under the sea. Most of the columns are hexagonal, although some have four, five, seven, or eight sides. The tallest are about 39 ft high, and the solidified lava in the cliffs is 92 ft thick in places.

Acres of moss laden Live Oak trees, remnants of rice levees and a dairy operation, and seven nineteenth century buildings, hint at the impactful story of Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation, offering clues to a past where the rich culture of initially enslaved and later free people of African ancestry is interwoven with that of people of European descent to form a distinct regional historical, agricultural, and natural treasure on the banks of the Altamaha River.

Sunny Boy (the ginger) tried to get Gino's attention. For the moment, he seems resigned to being ignored, while Gino recalls one of his past lives in Legio XIII.
Musée de l'Orangerie, Paris. This huge painting measures 6m x 2m and is one of 8 panels (of which this is one of the 4 smaller ones - the larger ones being 12m wide) that Monet painted to commemorate the end of the Great War and donated to the French State as a symbol of peace.
Visitors to the gallery are asked to view the pictures in respectful silence (which they kinda do!), and the two ovoid galleries, each containing four of the pictures, are lit from above by diffused daylight, providing a very tranquil effect.
The sunset picture is the most colourful of the 8. www.musee-orangerie.fr/en/node/197502
