Frigg is a nordic goddess, wife of Óðinn.

Height of this plant probably around 20 cm.
This solar halo fragment is high in the sky, near where you’d expect something rare like a circumzenithal arc. But it’s wrapped around the sun at just the right distance to be a common 22° circular halo. On July afternoons, the sun is high to begin with!

This dive involved a lot of swimming through kelps, chasing around the surprinsingly friendly wrasses. Lovely!

Hallway upstairs at the Hayworth Theatre in Los Angeles. The back of the building seems to be mostly offices, one of which has been converted into the Ark Theatre. The building was designed in the 1920s.
We were there that night to see The Glass Mendacity, a spoof of Tennessee Williams.
Taken while waiting in line for Castle...right next to the air conditioners for the entire convention center.
