Makapu'u Point Lighthouse Lookout Trail is a 2.5 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located East of Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. The trail is paved and winds up along sea cliffs ultimately to an observation deck with fantastic views. The lighthouse is beautiful but no longer accessible. The trail is part of the Kaiwi State Scenic Shoreline and offered outstanding views of Oahu’s southeastern coastline, including Koko Head & Crater, magnificent views of the windward coast, offshore islets and the historic red-roofed Makapu’u Lighthouse. The day was clear, so Molokai and Lanai were visible.
Makapu’u Point Lighthouse was constructed and first lit in 1909 at Makapu'u Point, the southeastern most point of Oahu. The hyper-radiant Fresnel lens installed is the largest of its kind ever made. It is twelve feet tall and with over a thousand prisms. It has the third highest focal plane in the U.S., 420 feet; the lighthouse is 46 ft tall. It is now automated (1974) and is still an active aid to navigation. The United States Coastguard owns and maintains the light and the State of Hawaii maintains the land around it. The public is not allowed direct access to the lighthouse. The access trail peels off from the paved trail and is not maintained and is partially washed-out.
This is a Hyper Stereo 3D Photo in Clifton Park in Rotherham. This is the Garden of Remembrance, on a spring day like this, it has to be one of the most pleasant in Britain.

This is a Hyper Stereo 3D screenshot of Ulley Reservoir in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
It was was created using 2 Toshiba S20 camcorders. I took a photo with the left hand camcorder and left the image on the viewfinder. I then moved a few feet horizontally to the right and tried to take the exact same photo with the right hand camcorder, using the left reference image to line things up as best I could. Its mainly guess work and trial and error, but with a steady hand and a bit of luck you sometimes get some good stereos.
