A few photos from Hyper Japan event in Earls court London. I didn't take as many this year as last few years as I had a chance to look round a bit more.
This is a Hyper Stereo 3D Photo in Clifton Park in Rotherham. This is the Garden of Remembrance, on a spring day like this, it has to be one of the most pleasant in Britain.

He was chillin' on the bed on top of a red towel and I was at the computer and didn't notice him laying down there. I turned, saw him, thought, "PHOTO OP! HOPE HE DON'T MOVE!", and grabbed my Nikon D700 out of its bag, fiddled with settings, turned on the speed-light, composed the shot, with Oscar still chillin' (and me hoping he stayed that way), and snapped the shutter. The best photos are the ones least expected. They just happen. They're not forced. Not concocted. Not staged. And they're the ones you remember. As a photographer you love them. I saw a shot. I reacted. Through experience I was prepared. Through the sight in my eye I composed the shot. It's just a God-given talent, that sight. But you feel it as it happens. You're hyper yet calm. Hurried yet steady. And when it comes to fruition you get a big smile on your face and rejoice that you accomplished what you wanted to. You're satisfied and must tell you friends and family. "Hey, I got a really great photo!" All the while hoping you're right about that bit of boasting and will get a nice reaction in return about the photo. It's an artist high you feel. Your creative juices flow in unison. It's not describable. Not with mere words. It's just a feel and it feels great.
pronounce as Hyper Geil, great reincarnation of early french punque such as Strychnine, Dogs or even Telephone. The Frankfurt Band were opening up for the Briefs at the AU. Damn cool show. #au #punkrock #franfurt #aumussbleiben #hitafterhit #abriss #todde53
I've slowly been discovering my dad's old photography equipment and most recently I found my dad's old tripod and decided to do a couple long exposure shots.
Inspiration for this picture comes from Ben McLeod's photos
