This was probably my favorite Halloween costume of all time: Hyper-Hypo Philip, a Mike Myers character from Saturday Night Live. I was especially proud of this costume because I put it together at the last minute after one trip to the thrift store. Note awesome He-Man shirt, helmet made from child's winter hat and red electrical tape, and harness fashioned from ladies' belts. There was also a stretchy belt on the back that allowed me to be tethered to things.
We went to a party that night somewhere waaaaaay out in the Kentucky countryside, and my roommate (who drove us) got completely wasted, so I volunteered to drive her home. I remember trying to navigate down windy, foggy back roads, my roommate passed out in the back seat, hoping to God I didn't get into a terrible accident and die in boys' swim trunks with brown stage makeup smeared all over my face.
What a way to go, though, huh?

NETL’s Hybrid Performance, or Hyper, facility is a one-of-a-kind laboratory built to develop control strategies for the reliable operation of fuel cell/turbine hybrids and enable the simulation, design, and implementation of commercial equipment. The Hyper facility provides a unique opportunity for researchers to explore issues related to coupling fuel cell and gas turbine technologies
To view in stereo, sit 2-3 feet from the monitor and gently cross your eyes so that the two images become three. The one in the middle will be in 3d. If you are finding this difficult, you may be trying too hard. Viewing the original size is best.

I took a stylized sun clip art image and converted it to a vector, then back to a raster then ran the result through various filters and then recombined them as an RGB image. Why? Uh, when I think of a reason, I'll update this post.
Many of my works - like this one - are produced entirely digitally. I sometimes re-use older works as art elements and also drawing objects - usually rectangles. These are combined together using Serif PagePlus X3.
Next I mesh warp the image and finally photographically over process the image with Paint Shop Pro.
