All of the fire hydrants in Amarillo were these colors, the whole city had these colors all around it which really was quite unique and beautiful.
A memorial to fallen Tallahassee firefighters - each hydrant has a small plaque with a firefighters' name and company in front of it; there are 3 types of hats hanging on the brick wall.
In Tallahassee, working hydrants are yellow, with the "cap" one of 4 colors, depending on the amount of water is disperses:
Blue: 1,500 Gallons per minute
Green: 1,000 GPM
Orange: 500-900 GPM
Red: 0-500 GPM
Driving with my scooter deep behind the hills I made a stop and found this hydrant. Good for a refreshment.

A bit of an experiment using 3 images blended in HDR Efex Pro, some Glamour Glow added with Colour Efex Pro and finished off with Lightroom 4.
