Found this one hiding out on the roof all packed up with our camping gear as we went to set up , found a better home for it. :)
I was going to lean on a tree at a little waterhole to wait for the birds to come down but the bark was very flaky and coming away so I thought I'd better not lean there. Could end up with something running up my neck, even if it was just ants.
So, I lifted a few pieces and there were spiders under every piece! This guy froze so I put the bark on the ground to get a shot. Never seen an orange huntsman before. Not sure if it's some stage of maturity and will change colour and I couldn't find it in my new spider guide. :(

This species is officially described as Thelcticopis orichalcea by Ng, Court, Leguin & Rollard (2022).
Location: Lowland forest of Kuala Lumpur.
Distribution: All across Peninsular Malaysia, Indonesia (Silago in West Sumatra; Pulau Berhala in the Riau Islands), Singapore, and Borneo.
Toxicity: Medically significant (non-fatal).
Cases & Symptoms:
a) Patient 1 (42 yr old man): Severe pain & local swelling.
b) Patient 2 (57 yr old woman): Severe throbbing pain and progressive swelling. moderate neck and generalized joints pains (Ismail, Court & Anthonysamy, 2019).
I crashed a graduation ceremony when I showed up here. I thought it was the U of U graduation ceremony for a few seconds, but realized it was a collection of various SLC high schools.
Another Custom! I actually made the fur vest YEARS ago... about 6 or so.. when the Chewy minifig first came out I made it. I had it laying around and thought I would make a nice Post Apoc hunter out of it.
