Orange huntsman (Sparassidae). More tropical spiders: orionmystery.blogspot.com/2012/01/tropical-spiders.html
This is what greeted my nine year old tonight as he went for a leak.
I am ABSOLUTELY petrified of Spiders, no matter the size. Having one this size anywhere near me, let alone IN my house, is enough to seriously ruin my day! I stood for 10 minutes in the hallway watching this thing until the wife got home. If I had lost it there would have been no way on earth I would have slept a wink.
Naughty Spider, Gave Me A Startle -
The eye arrangements of spiders are varied and fascinating. I spotted a spider sitting on a leaf and his eyes were elliptically aligned in 2 rows of four. He doesn’t believe in passive waiting, he waste no time in weaving; staking and running after prey is his favourite pastime. I must be observing too closely, he suddenly rushed forward and made me jumped.
gross und haesslich, aber nicht so gefaehrlich. Wird man gebissen schlaeft man ein. Zu deutsch Riesenkrabbenspinne.
