A ceremony of remembrance is held every year on 5th August at the Monument to Victims of the Wola Massacre (In Polish: "Pomnik Ofiar Rzezi Woli"), which is located in a small square ("Skwer Pamięci") near the intersection of Solidarity Avenue (Aleja Solidarności) and Leszno Street in Warsaw.

In the worst of cases, sweet words attemp to cover vicious acts, resulting from jealousy and/or envy.
Who might have once been considered a friend, appears nothing but an enemy and someone to bit, overcome, hurt. Anything will be done for attention to be drawn.
A simple "no" will be considered as the worst war ever and days when once help and support were generously offered will be deleted as a result of impulsive behaviour.
....in the end behaviour that intents to trick others when it actually is our own eyes that it blinds.
May we all develop real self reflection, so that we can see our true selves and therefore have something to offer to this world.
May we be able to loose ourselves in magical, creative worlds, but always keep in touch with reality and know where there needs to be a line drawn.
Every year at 5pm on 1st August - "W" hour - Warsaw comes to a standstill in tribute to those who fought and died in the Warsaw Uprising....

The ceremony is followed by a march to Warsaw Insurgents Cemetery. Marchers visit many other monuments and memorials to victims of the massacre en route to the cemetery. This Tchorek plaque on Wolska Street commemorates approximately 2500 residents of the Wola district who were murdered by the Germans and their Ukrainian and Russian collaborators during the early days of August 1944....

This mural, by Anna Koźbiel and Adam Walas, is dedicated to Ludwig Zamenhof - the creator of Esperanto. Zamenhof was born in Białystok, but for much of his life he lived in Warsaw, in the Muranów district.
The mural includes his face, his biography, various phrases in Polish and their translations into Esperanto, as well as images of Napoleon Bonaparte, Marie Antoinette, Albert Einstein, Descartes, Bruno Schulz, Hamlet, Charlie Chaplin, Leo Tolstoy, Dirty Harry, Yoda from "Star Wars" and others....
