I found this panorama quite hard to do because of the awkward angles that I needed to pan on. On the full size pic there are a couple of misalignments though hopefully it should look ok at the size that is shown here. checkout the alien beam getting the tourists sitting near me!!!

Stitched from 4 portrait shots.

Is it my imagination that ravens almost always appear in pairs?

In Norse mythology Hugin (thought) and Munin (memory) are Odin's two ravens. At day they fly over Åsgard and Midgard. At night they sit on Odin's shoulder and whisper in his ear what they have seen.

This replica boat was given to our community by the Danes.I left the dog in coz he was so lovely.

I took this roll with my Yashica Mat 124G way back in 1982 —some consumer-grade Kodacolor. On a lark I decided to re-scan it. I realized that two frames constituted a panorama so I merged them using Hugin.

The camera was pretty new then, I bought it at Frank’s Highland Park Camera. I got a lot of stuff at Frank’s back in the day.

On permanent display on the cliff top at Pegwell Bay is a replica of the Viking ship 'Hugin' which sailed from Denmark to Thanet in 1949 to celebrate the 1500th anniversary of the invasion of Britain. Brothers Hengist and Horsa were the legendary leaders of the first Anglo-Saxon-Jutish settlers in Britain around 450 A.D said to have landed in Ebbsfleet just outside Ramsgate in Kent.
