During the Blacktron-Maelstrom war, the United Blacktron Federation realized it's mobile weaponry lacked to that of the enemy. After many losses, Federation leaders began the Heavy Mobile Armor (HMA) Project.
Three years the HT-26 was unleased onto the battlefield. It performed well but needed improvements. After some time the HT-27 was created. With thicker armor and 8 Anti-Vehicle Ballistic Missiles (AVBM) capable of knocking a ship out of orbit or destroying any enemy vehicle and/or ground establishment.
Following the war the HT-27 stays as the primary armored warfare vehicle.
