Dinner at HP Pavilion
My blood glucose was 173 mg/dl before I ate lunch and 250 mg/dl 2 hours later.
HP Envy 15 vs. HP Pavilion. As you can see the Envy is slightly longer (15.6" diagonal in the Envy vs. 15.4" in the Pavilion), slightly narrower, and thinner. It also weighs less.
The Envy is HP's answer to the MacBook Pro. Based on my experiences in the last few days I would have to say they did a pretty good job. The Envy is thin, lightweight, and very sturdy (Envy has a metal case rather than the standard plastic). Performance is significantly better than any computer I've used so far. The only potential downside is the lack of an internal optical drive, but given that I've needed one maybe 3-4 times in the last year I think Envy's external one will work fine.

T minus 15 minutes and counting. The place was completely full not long after this photo. This is the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.
Playing support for U2. I think the band had fun and played well, but the mix was a mess. It didn't help that the sound guy was right next to the stage. I don't envy his job, though I'd be happy to help :)
From my little camera, which I hardly ever use, and wouldn't have except that I was lazy and didn't charge my big camera's batteries...whoops. And then my brother, sister, and I got to go to the Rock and Worship Roadshow and volunteer, and we got the best volunteer jobs in the whole show, because for half the concert we got to stand at a booth for Grand Canyon University straight back from the stage. We had an amazing view. :) This was my favorite part (of the first half, which was what I got to see) of the show. Luminate had some pretty cool lights, a disco ball on the ceiling, which was cool...and THEN...CONFETTI! :D (Yes, I am still a little kid at heart.) And it was cool enough to see it up by the stage, but then it drifted over to where we were and started falling on us. Which of course made me even more happy. I still have several pieces of it. :) Oh, yeah, and we got to see Rhett Walker Band, Family Force 5, Adam Cappa, and Kutless! :)
