Blackhawks forward Hossa picks up the puck to drive down the ice at HP Pavilion.
San Jose, California. 25 November 2009.
Right before the show, at least 8 people got hoisted up on the lighting rigs so that the band members are always being tracked by 1-2 spots. Here they are hard at work.
Bummer!!! I missed a day. Yes, I missed posting on this day but it doesn't mean to say I slack. I still have a photo taken from yesterday.
I was out of town with the hubby. Every year, we drive to HP Pavilion in San Jose to witness the SAP Open. It's a long drive and it's a long yet fun day for me who is an avid fan of tennis (although I don't play the sport). And while there, I don't have access to computers. And as much as I wanted to post for the day, it's just not feasible for me. The drive is quite long and when we got home, it was already past midnight. Ooops...I did not really want it to happen but those are things that are beyond my control.
As for the photo above, aside from the players who played amazing games, this chair immediately caught my eye as soon as we stepped into the Ace Lounge. Since we were there early, I had the chance to take a snap without worrying about people behind me who also wants to take a picture of it. The chair is basically made of actual tennis balls tied and glued together . It's not the most comfortable thing to sit on but it sure does make for a good eye catching piece.
