Hoverfly, feeding on a chicory, is cautious when a metallic green bee approaches. These bees don't pose a danger to them, but I've seen a dragonfly snatch a small hoverfly right off the flower.

This Hoverfly paused long enough on an opened Pear tree bossom for me to record this 2:1 macro. Imaged on April 10, 2010, on the grounds of my family's homestead, in the Lyons section of Bernards Township in Somerset County, northern New Jersey, USA.
