In full bloom for today's Sunday Rhododendron
Dear women, Mother's Day should be renamed Women's Day. Even if women are not mothers,
it is YOU who do most of the housework/care work alongside your job.
Best wishes to all the women of the world.

Another photo that Iβve not published previously. Planned a photoshoot today but I desperately needed to do some housework. Should be going out with the camera one day this week. I promise.
It was my pleasure to spend time with granddaughter, now she is a very independent person...knows how to dress herself and is helping her mum with houseworks. Maija even can use the swings independently
Avian sanitation
The white-winged chough parent removes a membrane covered blob of faeces (faecal sac) to carry it well away from the nest. This ensures the nest is kept clean, and there is no tell-tale collection of faeces on the ground below the nest.
When watching nests, you will see that parents spend a lot of time with their heads in the nest. presumably doing "housework".

After a long, hot and not very fruitful day chasing bugs, I thought I'd go and sit in a tree and watch the badgers. They came out late, but nice to see mum and one piglet. She was gathering grass about six feet away at one point... Keen to get the housework done before going off to forage.
I wasn't going to upload any shots today, up at sunrise, not to get any shots but start chores, housework and feed some early birds (Galahs of course). The job got bigger as the day went on, finding some additional tasks that we really didn't want to find. Anyway, I changed my mind but today's three shots are a bit different. I suppose this is what is colloquially bagged together as a bottlebrush, hanging around on the top of a fence rail but still at Yamba near the lighthouse.
One from the archives to brighten up a very grey and drizzly day! It is amazing what I can find to do rather than housework!! This was taken at Portland Bill Lighthouse a few years ago - the sunset was awesome and the colours really lit up the sky

It's a beautiful day today and I would have loved to go out with my camera but the housework was calling me...I just hate using that filthy word...so I have been busy cleaning windows and paintwork. I gave Bruno a bit of a haircut too. So it's been a busy day and when it came to thinking about my POTD I thought it seemed a shame not to use these beautiful snowdrops again...so here they are in all their high key glory. I have another version where I put a texture over but my husband preferred this one...what does he know? I may post the other one for Sliders Sunday.
Ahead there may be a period of political theater.
Some recounts in states where Biden's margins would qualify, Trump's lawsuits, a smokescreen cloud of fraud, and so on.
And we are a nation torn apart.
It's a steep road ahead, but I have hopes for onward and upward.
And now I can get my mind focused on ugh housework, etc.
Have a blessed day.

Yet another grey day, but for a change, it's raining as well. So today, some much needed housework might get done.
Old Man's beard seeds (wild clematis - clematis vitalba) taken for Macro Monday theme "reflection"
Yet another dusting challenge for me. My cloths don't seem to remove all the dust from the glass surface or I live in an extremely dusty environment or I am just lazy about housework (take your pick) but I have found my lint roller to be my new best friend - as well as Lightroom's spot remover!
Not breathing was another challenge as the slightest breath and the seeds flipped over and I could never find the original position that had pleased me.

Joe and I are visiting my mother in Brevard, North Carolina.
After some housework and yardwork (raking leaves), we all went to South Broad Park, and shopped at Bracken Mountain Bakery downtown, and then Mother and I walked the neighborhood.
Hope you enjoy the 19% of 46 photos I took outdoors this day!
Another rainy day here today so probably will have to catch up with housework!! These shots were taken at my favourite beach on Gower. I have been spending quite a bit of time there perfecting my beach bum skills and hope to get back later in the week again. Sorry to post yet more beach/sunset shots!!
This was a just for fun image because I guess I am avoiding housework... and I needed to continue spreading my message of love.
(201/365) Another drizzly windy day yesterday & I was so busy with housework & guests at the B&B that I hadn't a photo taken by 8pm & was severely lacking in enthusiasm & inspiration. I was so was close to giving up on my "2015 : one photo each day" group but it's my group so I have to lead by example! I pulled myself together & took this shot of one of my cacti. For Textural Tuesday HTT!
A somewhat different look at the trees and leaves of autumn...
The weather continues to be simply amazing with temps consistently around 60F (highly unusual and a real joy after the doldrums of October), inspiring a walk along the lake this morning following the well-used animal trail which encircles it regardless of season...a repeat of yesterday's activities. (Housework? What housework? We don't need no stinkin' housework...)
[Large provides an interesting look at the tree trunk...the reason for its selection as the feature shot...nice to have water so clear]

Keeping up with the wash for the castle is hard work! Everything must be perfect for the queen.

Cold and windy and wet. Today will not be a good day for photography. So, maybe I should do some housework? ehhh....IMGL0797
Hausarbeit kann traumhaft sein ....
Das bisschen Haushalt macht sich doch von allein ,- sagt mein Mann .....π
Sicher und du bist der Sonnenschein meines Lebens ! π

houseworks can be dreamlike ...
That little household takes care of itself, - says my husband .....π
Sure and you are the sunshine of my life ! π
Madeleine has swept and brushed the bananas......I suppose she had better start on the satsumas next.
Note: I won't have any lazy Blythes living here and as I always say......the housework doesn't do itself!

Playing around with the DistressedFX app for Telegraph Tuesday, taken today during the 4 minutes that the sun shone. HTT everyone! Thanks to David Hulme for the idea, now I have even less time to dedicate to housework!
I should have been doing the housework but decided to have a wander around the Water Park. I was just ready to come home when I decided to have a quick look at the feeders below the cafe and was duly rewarded when this beauty flew in. I was so excited that there is probably a bit of a camera shake but I got it yeeha!!!!! Sorry, like a kid in a sweet shop xx
Did I mention I hate housework? Thanks to Rum Bucolic Ape for identifying it as a sock demon.
Sneakily posting this as today's We're Here: Photography of Unease but also for yesterday's Washing Machines! Washing Machines! Washing Machines! which I couldn't play.
