Images of my grandfathers workshop where he fixes clocks and watches

I had borrowed someone's watch (Sinn U2 - made of submarine steel!) amidst exhortations about keeping it safe and germ free. I was struck by one of my period bouts of moronic infantilism and this photo was the result.

Staying active during the pandemic. The TAG Heuer Connected watch has an excellent golf app - intuitive, good GPS & simple scorecard. The app is also compatible with iPhone.

On that note, TAG Heuer's golf app also works on an Apple Watch with a $40/yr subscription. However, since the app is designed for the TAG Heuer, the UI is more intuitive since the screen is larger on the Connected watch.

Plus, after you're done with any "smart" modes, the TAG Heuer faces look really sharp. The Carrera Heuer 02 face is detailed & realistic - looks just like the skeleton dial of the mechanical watch

My favourite bit is the arm that puts a weight onto the drive mechanism that keeps the clock running while Pat is winding it. I also like how the weights that power it are at the end of a pully mechanism and run down a wooden shaft elsewhere in the college.
