digital reflections in glass at Kastrup Copenhagen Airport

Taking a break from work I found time for a portraiture. Many thanks to Alyonna for a great photoshoot!

Have you ever seen these the Southern gems from northern hemisphere? This fascinating sky sceneries was recorded at Dashanbao in southwest China, which is located at latitude 27°2 degrees north near the northernmost limit for observing them .

The full Southern Cross, including the lower star Acrux appear on the left. Theoretically the star Acrux (alpha Crux) at declination -63º 10') never appears over the horizon of this place. However, due to atmospheric refraction and the high altitude ( 3100m ), the star is visible only for a short time. The red cloud at the right side is the Great Carina Nebula, an iconic southern sky object. To its left bright open star cluster NGC 3532, known as the Wishing Well Cluster.

Note these gems never rise above the horizon further north of latitude 30 degrees North.

#ABFAV_WINTER_ ❄️

Abstract designed by snow.

I love patterns and minimalism, I have many images taken over the years.

Some are more abstract than others.

Snow and frost is the main theme, they are great at setting off details we otherwise pass without seeing.

Have a glorious day and thank you, M, (*_*)

Visitors of the Churaumi Aquarium in Okinawa stand in front of the large acrylic panel of the Kushiro Sea tank, watching a whale shark (Rhincodon typus), one of the two the Churaumi Aquarium in Okinawa had at that time, swim by.

This is a very rare Vector W8 that I saw. Only 17 were ever made.

Built three supports that would hold up the three separate stages when going to future public events/shows/displays. The connectors/wells from the previous stages were designed to cover/hide the booster rockets when merged as one.

Big Shot (4k)

The Milky Way over Seeley's Bay.

I shot this on May 14th, 2018, the time of year when the core of the Milky Way starts to appear again. I don't get to see the core of the Milky Way during the winter because it's hidden below the horizon (when viewed from this part of Earth) so I'm always excited for "Milky Way season" to start again. This year I won't get to see it much because I have a summer job at an apple orchard, which I have to wake up early for, but on the bright side, I'll be digging myself out of debt and getting some much needed dental work done.

Photography is on the "back burner" for now, but I'm trying to catch up with myself (processing and posting) and I still have a years worth of work to share, so I'll be trying my best to post daily.

I went round Tokyo and Yokohama looking for the building with wellhole on that day. The structure that was the most complicated in that was an interesting place here.

By the way, which side is the top?

I think at some point in their youth, Great Blue Herons are taught to make themselves horizontal. I know this happened in my youth, when I was 5 years old and learning to swim and I was repeatedly reminded to keep my legs up to keep kicking. So people and birds have a lot more in common than we might think.

Sorry for all the disturbing people in the foreground and background, but it's not so easy to make nice animal captures on a busy beach...

Again playing with multiple exposures. This is 2 shots together. All done in camera again. Heading out to karaokeeee now. :-S

Horizontal rain and 60mph winds didn't stop @curious2119 and hundreds from enjoying a day at the beach. Had a great time shooting with Tim and others and getting literally sandblasted at Cannon Beach #socalitypdx instagram.com/p/unpi1WSZwm/
