I feel so special. After all my fears and thrills from my Monarch efforts this summer, I'm thrilled again to have the Monarchs passing through my yard on their way to somewhere. They've been just kindof fluttering through, one at a time, circling, occasionally making a refueling stop. So here's today's visitor, a male (I got so smart studying up). You can just tell by the smudge on the underside of his wing (I marked it). It's much more obvious from the topside. I watched for a little over a half-hour and it was all boy(s) - not sure if it was the same guy or more than one, since I only saw them one at a time. I sure hope he gets where he's going. What a joy to be a part of this cycle.
If you check this large, you can see how the eye is spotted to match the rest of his outfit. I find that fascinating.
Welcome Spring!
Large view is nice.
Many thanks to all those who view, fav & comment my pictures. I very much appreciate it.

This flower popped up in my backyard garden yesterday. It survived the summer and winter months from last year and no watering other than rainfall. I thought it was a weed, and was just getting ready to pull it, when I noticed the Bluebell bloom. It kind of seemed like a sign of hope.
Big robot is searching for survivors....ha,ha!
have a grand week guys.thank you for comments and faves.

Time for a bit of monochrome. It's been pretty much all colour recently.

Without means to escape the looming bloodbath, her demon orb came levitating with a flick of her finger. "I guess a fight is inevitable," she said in a somewhat calm voice as the orb started to glow bright red. "I hope you're ready to perish. Don't worry... I'll do it fast and painless... /hopefully/."

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. If you spot the impostor with a camera you get bonus points. Enjoy!
From the top of Win Hill Pike on a very windy day, at least it was at the top. Bradwell village can just be seen in the shadows.
I thought I would post one more from this memorable sunset outing.
The sky became even more spectacular after sunset, but by that point I was a bit of a muddy mess! This was shot on the low tide at Morecambe with the fishing vessel LR191 "Hope" lying at anchor on the muddy shoreline.
I have been so overwhelmed by the pressures of the season. I have a literal list of pictures I want to take that just keeps on growing. I keep missing days worth of pictures from all of you wonderful artists and I miss it so much.
There is hope on the horizon. Soon the shopping frenzy will be over and we can all just enjoy the beauty of the season and the warmth of our loved ones...and hopefully a little me time with my computer :)

And so We Pray
I pray that I don’t give up
Pray that I do my best
Pray that I can lift up
Pray my brother is blessed
Praying for enough
Pray Virgilio wins
Pray I-I-I
Judge nobody and forgive me my sins
I pray we make it
Pray my friend will pull through
Pray as I take it
Unto others I do
Praying on your love
We pray with every breath
Though I-I–I’m in the valley of the shadow of death
And so We Pray
For someone to come and show me the way
And so We Pray
For some shelter and some records to play
And so We Pray
We’ll be singing Baraye
Pray that we make it to the end of the day
And so We Pray
I know somewhere that heaven is waiting
And so We Pray
I know somewhere there’s something amazing
And so We Pray
I know somewhere we’ll feel no pain
Until we make it to the end of the day
And so We Pray
For someone to come and show me the way
And so We Pray
For some shelter and some records to play
And so We Pray
We’ll be singing Baraye
Pray that we make it to the end of the day
And so We Pray
I know somewhere that heaven is waiting
And so We Pray
I know somewhere there’s something amazing
And so We Pray
I know somewhere we’ll feel no pain
Until we make it to the end of the day
On my knees
I pray
As I sleep and wake
Cause inside my head is a frightening place
Keep a smiling face
Only by His grace
Cause love’s more than I can take
And so We Pray
For someone to come and show me the way
And so We Pray
For some shelter and some records to play
And so We Pray
We’ll be singing Baraye
‘til nobody’s in need
And everybody can say
La la la la la la la (la la)
La la la la la la la (la la la la)
La la la la la la la (sing it to me)
La la la la la
We Pray We Pray
I know somewhere that heaven is waiting (is waiting)
I know somewhere there’s something amazing (something amazing)
Until we feel no pain
We Pray

While in Hope Town on Elbow Cay in the Bahamas we were able to ascend the lighthouse there. Built in 1862, it’s about 154 years old, and is still in operation. It is one of three remaining operational kerosene-fueled lighthouses in the world. It has a spring mechanism that has to be hand cranked every several hours to maintain the sequence of five white flashes every 15 seconds. The lamp burns kerosene oil with a wick and mantle. A large Fresnel lens, floating on a bed of mercury, focuses the light. It can be seen from 23 (43 km) nautical miles away.
Outside of the lighthouse, at dusk.
Explored on 9-9-16, highest at #228
The sun sets across Morecambe Bay with the Western Lake District fells silhouetted in the distance.
Hope is one of the few fishing vessels that still operate here from the shore at Morecambe.

I have a glimmer of hope people will wisen-up and take coronavirus seriously, no challenge to our nation has ever demanded such a degree of common and united action. We have to beat this crisis and this will only work if we ALL do our part in social distancing. I do it all the time it isn't that difficult. Please stay home and be a hero! I want to give thanks and respect to our brave, front line medical workers -- I don't think I could do that job. I noticed last week the small towns have a greater sense of community with no hoarding of toilet paper in the stores which is really nice to see. Stay safe my Flickr friends. We will get through this together.
Sometimes hope gets lost in the fog but remember fog always lifts and beyond the fog lies clarity...
