Even though the mosaic is glued onto a fabric mesh, there is still some give that allows each tile to move around a bit. This meant that I needed to put spacers in between almost all the tiles. That slowed the process considerably.

My New favorite power tool...

The water spigot in the garage is located in a tight spot under the workbench, which always screws up the hose and makes it inconvenient to operate.

Katy snapped a shot of me putting in my time scraping up the paint from the floor under our kitchen table. yes, that's a masonry chisel I'm using. My glazier's knife is out in the garage...

Now I can eat and even invite someone over. I bought this and the lamp for $130. Please note the toaster and the wonderful view. 365ers might want to look at the photos that I posted after this for a complete view of my Sunday.

Front porch. There's nice "porch gray" painted wood under that green astro turf. The ceiling is nice old beadboard.

The pieces are sitting on rails so can be removed to repair or rearrange.

Nifty egyptian picture that doesn't go with anything, but I wanted to put it up somewhere anyway.

I put up some hooks to manage the growing costume collection.

I haven't moved much of anything back into the room. I wanted to clean the carpet first.

The guest bathroom went from brown to yellow.

I didn't want to put couplers in the cables everywhere they went through drywall, so I got a two port plate and left the ports empty so the cables could just run through them. It's not perfect but at least it's not a gaping hole in the ceiling either.
