I love how these Monster High torsos turned out. They make for a great Hologram/ Ghost like Monster!
Had a little fun build with some trans clear and trans light blue bricks to make a hologram of the Imperial Shuttle. A fun and challenging build as I was extremely limited to trans parts. Illuminated from the bottom to give it a glow without illuminating the surroundings.

Resolvi usar um holo hoje, acordei com preguiça, mas queria esmaltar. Resultado: holográfico.
Já usei vários esmaltes dessa coleção, totalizando 12 com o Purple. Achei que fosse usar todos eles muito mais rapidamente, mas a gnt acaba enjoando de um acabamento só. Isso somado ao mês OPI, me deu uma folguinha de Nabi's, mas pretendo usar todos eles ainda esse ano! hahaha
Essa cor aqui fica num meio termo entre o Fushia e o Dark Purple. E ainda temos mais um tom nesse estilo: Flamingo (que eu ainda não usei).
Foram 1 camada de AB + 2 de Purple SEM top coat.
Eu to meio perdida nas contas de quantos Nabi já usei, mas sei que ainda faltam muitos, então vou usando conforme me dá na telha e conforme o sol aparece por aqui. Hoje o escolhido veio pela sugestão da Jo.
Esse aqui me parece ser um lilás bem clarinho, uma cor bem delicadinha, pouco pigmentada e me lembra algum Halo Hues, apenas não lembro qual deles, mas algum da primeira leva.
Gostei da cor, ele é bem holo, mas não fica entre meus favoritos. Como sempre, nos comments tem mais fotos.

I remember reading an article a while back about Jem VS Barbie. Barbie tried to imitate Jem's fierceness with The Rockers but eventually the whole glam-pop-rock 80s trend passed and so did the show's appeal. Looking back, it's still a glamorous show. There's still nothing like it in terms of animated adventures.
Incredible what can be found in puddles! They are one of my favorite subjects. We spotted this in Volterra - another must have seen town in Tuscany!

Um dos Nabi's que menos dei bola quando passei nas varetas e, surpreendentemente, um dos mais bonitos e com holografia mais linda!
Eu acho que não tenho nada aqui na minha coleção que seja parecido com ele, talvez o Layla Gold Idol seja parecido, mas não faço a menor ideia e não tenho ele pra poder comparar. E tenho a impressão de que o Nabi seja mais ~gold~ do que o Layla.
Amei demais essa cor e essa holografia.

O esmalte de hoje foi sugestão do Douglas, e veio numa bela hora, pq eu tava sem a menor ideia de qual usar. =P
Essa cor me lembrou o Cosmic Fate, da Color Club, porém menos escandaloso. Eu gosto de cores assim, então sou suspeita pra falar.

I LOVED the outfits in the cartoon (especially Jem's white and gold polka-dot cowl-neck sweater dress and hot pink gloves). They were outrageous to say the least.
This is Cortana from the video game Halo. This is my christmas gift to my sister. I used a modified version of Siercon and Coral's technique. Though, I don't have a running motor... yet.
I shortened the row spacing from 2 studs to 1.5. And I changed the staggering about 2/3rds of the way down. Normally a close viewing would cause a few of the bottom rows to hide behind the top ones; the changed stagger fixes that.
The only problem is that the gears produce too much torque and it all pops out. So I glued the technic bricks together to fix the problem.

Wow, I can't believe the Jem legacy is 30 years old! That makes me feel old! Anyways, even though many cartoons of the Eighties made me happy as an 80's kid, Jem & the Holograms will always hold a special place in my heart. The catchy songs, the great characters, the interesting adventures, I could go on and on, but at the end of the day, I'm just a guy who will always side with Team Jem, even though I think the Misfits had better songs at times. Happy 30th Anniversary Jem fans! May Jem & the Holgrams have a truly outrageous influence on more generations to come. 😄😘
Just a quick snap to fill the silence! The big photoshoot I've been excited about is taking so much more work than expected! So many custom mesh items and textures! >_<
I think the one thing that I love about the show is the fact that Jem and the Holograms ALWAYS seems to get into some sort of danger whether it be falling off of a platform over a killer whale to being attacked by a gang of thugs.
Finalmente consegui usar um Nabi novamente. O sol tinha sumido daqui completamente, isso aliado ao fato de ter rolado outros acontecimentos nos últimos dias, fez com que eu abandonasse os holos. Por um lado foi bom, já tava louca pra usar holo de novo.
Esse é o Nabi holo de número 11 que eu uso. Ele é bastante parecido com o Blackberry, porém mais puxado para o vinho. Amo esse tipo de cor, achei ele até meio parecido com o Layla Misty Blush (guardadas as diferenças com relação a holografia), esmaltei muito na correria aqui antes de ir almoçar, acabei passando 3 camadas pra corrigir falhas, mas com 2 camadas ele cobre perfeitamente.
Nos comentários tem foto de revesgueio, foto sem foco, foto assim e foto assado pq foi difÃcil captar a holografia e pq eu adoro milhões de fotos pra holo.
