• Performances by world-class skaters Mirai Nagasu, pairs team Meagan Duhamel and Dylan Moskovitch, Shawn Sawyer, and The Haydenettes
• Special Broadway guests Norm Lewis and Jessica Vosk
• Plus, fireworks, Santa, and more!
Please note: The Rink closes to the public 2:30pm on the day of Tree Lighting. Public skating resumes right after the show, around 6:50pm. Book your skate time here.
The in-person event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required. Bryant Park will observe all New York City and New York State guidelines immediate to the time of the performance.

If you take a second look at this photos you can see how my Mom's dog, "Bella" (my very first foster dog so many years ago!) took a "bite" out of my Mom's favorite Justin Boots.
My Mom got these boots when she first moved to Texas in 2001 at the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo. She was so peeved that Bella (who has an incurable taste for fine leather) ruined these boots last summer.
My Mom gave me the boots, and I am in the process of decorating them for her. I plan to decoupage drawings of the dogs my Mom has owned (including the naughty Bella) on the boots.
I have some trim to add to cover up the chew spot. They will at least be decorative! I'll let you all know how my Mom likes them when I give them to her for Christmas.
Phew, the exams are over, the results known and the holiday started! I wish you all a pleasant holiday.

When I put out this Nativity Set, the baby Jesus is left out on purpose. If anyone asks where's baby Jesus I simply reply He hasn't been born yet.
Then, when our family gathers for Chirstmas, we take a few moments to pause and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.
At that time one of the children in our family will have the honor of placing the baby Jesus in the manger to signify His birth.
Just a fun simple card. I thought the ornament was so cute hanging from the letters! The ribbon was from Michael's.
Hehe....I was able to find this little get-up at Kmart for 50% off. Couldn't get more perfect. He has been pretty obsessed with firetrucks lately....so now he can be a little fireman. ;o)

David and I disagreed about which door was ladies and which were men, so we both used the same one. I don't suppose it matters.
