Al rommelend tussen oude foto's kwam ik deze tegen van Het Hof in 1970. Het poortje naar het Statenplein, heette het toen al zo?, nog voorzien van zijn kanonnen ter voorkoming van schade aan de pilaren. Geen idee waar ze nu zijn? Jammer want het was
zo'n klassiek gezicht.
I found this wonderful ice formation this week on a morning at the Southern Regnitz here at Hof. I was suprised by this form, which stood up in the ice.

Each passage has so many details and amazing details that even two collages are not enough to convey how versatile these historic passages are. Perhaps the "Mädler Passage"is the best known one.

De Hofboerderij
The Hof van Wateringen was a castle in Wateringen that the lords of Wateringen had built and already existed in 1250. In 1485 the castle was handed over to the Cistercians and was used as a monastery. After the destruction in 1573, a new country estate arose on that spot. This was demolished for the most part in 1812, but a part has been preserved and is the current Hofboerderij (Court farm).
