I think it used to be a restaurant. i took this photo a long time ago (2013). My friend Marcia helped me ( thanks!) to find something about this place : This Hobbit House was a meeting place connected to the First Baptist Church at Burrard and Nelson Street.

J'avais fait cette photo en marchant au centre-ville... j'ai retrouvé et maintenant je la partage avec vous. Ce batiment était un lieu de rencontre lié à l'église Baptiste sur la rue Burrard/ Nelson. ~Bonne semaine.~

My initial intention was to edited this in a mytical, even slightly threatening way: the usual approach to these woods. But as it progressed I thought of it in a more uplifting way. Happy Hobbits would want more joy in their lives, sparkle & colour. Hence sunshine permeates the dowdy rocks & moss. Who is to say that this is not how it is when we are not looking. After all, them pesky humans mess everything up so we need to fool them to leave us alone.

So my thinking went . . . .

In a hole in the ground, there lived a hobbit....

Another gem on the sim custom made by the awesome Peggetta Resident (Summerfield). Who needs a regular house when you can live like a hobbit!
