Hier mein einziger Shoot von gestern: eine Langzeitbelichtung (205 Sekunden, bei f8 und ISO100) vom Steg direkt vor dem alten Kurhaus. Die Ergebnisse von Bernd, der mich beim Fotografieren mit seinem neuen Equipment portraitierte, verlinke ich dann bald an dieser Stelle.

My first image of the year is the classic view from Glen Coe looking down the River Coe towards the 3 sisters and using the much photographed tree. Again with the really nice conditions I couldn't resist stopping and making the shot.

Its nice to go out and get a really calming sunrise with soft and gentle tones to it. Enjoyed this "strange" sunrise up at Mam Tor (Derbyshire, UK) last Sunday morning. I actually didnt think i would get anything at all, but really pleased. A really strange sunrise that morning, with the fog shapes around the sun itself and a stunning colour too.

Met up with Chris at Hastings Point for some beautiful morning colours. We had a great time - we also found out what goes pop in the night! 1000's of Bluebottles had washed up on the beach at the high tide mark and being quite dark when we got there, we didn't notice until we started stepping on them.

I wanted to shoot this tree over 3 days just to show the difference over that time period and as the conditions changed over the weekend.

I also liked the bird just about to land on the tree as a wee extra.
