This is what happens when the hip resurfacing you had done 15 months ago fails (due to osteonecrosis, for the technically minded). I've become the reluctant recipient of unfortunately necessary revision surgery.

The River Hipper flows underground through Chesterfield.The old watercourse has been replaced with a new culverted section.The warm orange colours inside make it a good place to take photographs. I think so anyway.
