"These spectacular rocks are natural outcrops of soft limestone rock. Shelters among the outcrops were used by ancient Maori people".
An unexpected snowfall arrived just before us, dyeing the ground and mountains in white tones that contrasted beautifully with the black rocks of the "castle".

The hill, a man made hill in Carnisselande , on top is an artwork, called Sky, Moon, Mirror, Environment . When you look close there, the reflections are amazing. Beautiful spring greens, rapeseed and a photowalk with social distance. But slowly things are looking a bit better in the Netherlands. Stay safe everyone.
A country lane, little more than a trail, extends between the beautiful hills of the Tuscan countryside ...
During a trip in Tasmania's Midlands there is a place few people would visit on the back roads. The familiar shapes of the Midland's dome hills and quiet pastoral scenery abounds. This place is called Bonnet Hill on Pawtella Road between York Plains and Pawtella.

Another hard year for farmers and my best wishes to them this Christmas.
Photo taken through the window of an Avanti West Coast train to Glasgow.
A hectic few days for us, as some family and friends can only do some or part days due to work commitments. I won't be back for more than a few minutes until after Christmas.
Finally, I'd like to wish you all a happy and peaceful Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
Have fun!
