hallo :-) wusste erst nicht ob ich euch mal die volle Szene vom "Hügel" zeigen sollte. Das Bild "the hill" war ja recht beschnitten weil mich der Baum links unten im Vordergrund gestört hatte. Irgendwie nimmt es dem eigentlichen Motiv die Wirkung. Aber die Stimmung an dem Morgen wolte ich euch jetzt doch nicht vorenthalten. Es war ein wunderbarer Morgen im Allgäu.....Grüssle Klaus
I share another pic taken from Steptoe Butte near Colfax in Washington State. I don't know how many pics I took but many. For me this is a very special place I was happy to revisit after a few years.

Es un divino placer
descubrir que nada pasa
y el silencio que acompaña
hace que sientas la vida
distinta y diferente
de lo que sueles tener.
Pulidos picos con nieve,
un mar inmenso de verde
que satisface mirarlo,
y descubrir que contiene
pequeñas casitas dispersas
para cuidar el ganado.
Es un divino placer
poder contemplar la vida
con calma y sin ninguna prisa,
al igual que va creciendo
la vegetación a sus pies.

There once was a park
close to home
where it was pleasant
to walk paths alone.
The sky did its part
with the sun at its heart
Though the autumn
was too brief to atone.
Visited these hills on a cold and frosty spring morning. The landscape was beautifully illuminated by the warm light of the rising sun.
Played around with the levels and introduced a little radial blurring to create this. One of the dodgy shots my 28-75 was producing all morning!

Dry farmland near the town of Acheron, about an hour north-east of Melbourne.
Summer has only just begun but the land is already dry.
One more of that fabulous place, just because this one was so different being all by itself.
