With its 9” Barrel its almost a short rifle. But sure is a lot of fun to shoot!

A High Standard HSA-15 Rifle is pictured. This example is the Model TX6550, which is one of multiple configurations of the HSA-15 that is offered by High Standard. A number of aftermarket accessories are installed on the pictured rifle including a Trijicon TA31RCO–A4CP Scope, a Knight's Armament Company M5 Rail Adapter System, MantaRails rail covers, Grip Pod System vertical grip /bipod, and a Blue Force Gear sling. Model TX6550 rifles are chambered to fire the 5.56 x 45 mm NATO cartridge (.223 Remington). It is 39 inches in overall length and has a 20 inch chrome lined barrel. The rifling rate of twist is 1 in 7, which is the same as found on the military M16A4 rifle.

After lunch, we went to Takashimaya to shop for what we wanted. I, of course, headed straight for the toys section first. I found no interesting HW or MBX, but I got a big surprise went I walked over to the Bburago section. They were plenty of Bburago Street Fire and Street Tuners models there. I managed to find a green Murcielago from the Street Tuner series. I've been looking for that for ages, and now I've completed the Street Tuner series for 2012. I've never seen it in my hometown before, so I quickly grabbed it after taking the photo.

This image has been sitting there for a couple of years now and when I saw it yesterday I thought it was sure worth a try. I edited in Lightroom and couldn't get where I wanted so I made a couple of visrtual copies, at +2 and - 2ev and tone mapped them in Photomatix. I wanted details and contrast, and eventually I managed to get them. In my humble opinion is quite a well balanced image, with a lot of interesting elements to keep your eyes scanning it for a while.

The SLR McLaren Roadster in Bburago's Street Tuners Collection is quite impressive. Excellent job on the details, and it comes in a transparent and tightly covered packaging! The only major weakness of this toy is that it does not come with openable doors. But, instead the bonnet can open and close! And the engine again is well detailed. So far in my hometown, Kota Kinabalu, the only place where this great toys can be bought are from Parkson 1 Borneo at a price of RM 59.90. I bought these from Parkson Wawasan Plaza in the CBD itself. They come in blue and gray.
