Problem: Create four 10 inch by 10 inch compositions using supplied body copy, where the emphasis of one is on the title, another is on a word, another is on the text, and the last one is on a letter.
Solution: I used a slab serif font to make the word look angular, like blocks. The word recurs inside itself, suggesting that it is being built. The body copy is also built up from the word.
This is a poster advertising an exhibit. It was an assignment for a computer graphics class. It explores visual hierarchy and the radial typographic system.This was created using Adobe Illustrator. Size: 7x9 in.
Cleaning my character up with naming conventions and putting everything in a hierarchy, it helps to keep a clean file and workflow. Good practice to get in to.

Several chicks in among the females of various species just below. The gulls seemed to have a monopoly on the high ground however.
