Another afternoon spent in Bradgate Park taking in the sights and sounds of this year's rut.
Caught this and many other Fallow Stags emerging and disappearing in the bracken.

August 26. Scribbly sketches of local band Hide Your Kids at Melodica Acoustic Festival, along with one of the tables nearby. The band played for about half an hour so this page and the next were done in about that much time.

"Joey would hide the eggs in one spot. So when it was time to look for them he knew rite where to go to get them.
Easter 2003"
This photo was taken after the most moving church service I have ever attended. On my project trip, we were on the outskirts of pajule, Uganda and attended a local service held in a single schoolroom. The space was about 20’ x 20’ and we packed more people in that room than I thought possible. There were old women sitting on the floor, people standing at the back of the room, and people looking in through the windows and door.
After the service we were able to run around with the kids and have fun with them. This little boy was hiding from Jill, who was continually chasing him around the building shown. The funny thing is in this photo he actually looks rather scared, but as soon as he saw Jill come around the corner he ran off giggling exactly the way a little boy should.
