A really lovely bridal client from this summer wanted to throw a party for her girlfriends and had me come do henna. I love doing henna at gigs like this because I get to meet really cool women and I get to really take my time on each design.
@ Moroccan henna party, most of the time not the best circumstances to make beautiful henna, think about loud music, to much people, everybody's dancing, singing, clapping, making pics...and nobody can really sit still so then being a henna artist is really challenging :) Bit it can be fun too and all the beautifull dresses make always such a nice entourage in the pics...just love it...:)....visit www.handoffatima.nl for more information!
finally!! a professional photo back!! design based on one by Kiran with some adaptations.

it was hilarious listening to a room full of henna artists paying half attention to what they were hennaing chime in on what a chef needs. The description of the ascot was priceless.

Working abroad is always fun, but this was fun 2.0 ;) Punch and Judy (hippy-ibiza Shop) in Germany celebrated their 10th anniversary. And i was invited to do the henna for the clients. Sandra the shop owner and hostess is such a wonderfull and warm and caring personality...not only the shop was styled from A-Z she also prepared my hennabooth. I can talk for hours about this wonderfull experience. All the other employees were very kind as well and we have been taking care of in an pampering way and my Henna Art was highly respected. I cannot thank you enough Sandra :) Pictures taken by Ilonka van Oudheusden and me.

The most beautiful girls at the traditional henna parties, are the young girls that look up to the bride-to-be and think that they will be a princess too when they get married....
The cupcake liners were actually the same color but vanilla made it a pink/purple and the chocolate made it a bit darker purple...but I think it still worked :P
