This is my tribute to the famous guitarist “Jimi Hendrix” who using Fender Stratocaster.
He has many features to present, messy hair, fancy clothing, and his right-handed guitar upside down. So it is worth to try and honestly the reddish brown parts are much easier to get for me.
In the beginning I built the smaller Stratocaster for a scale to image the whole model I want. What I want? I want to make a action figure who can play the guitar with power function!
During the progress the most difficult part is how to place the mechanism, hand posing and build the shape of his clothing at the same time.
I put a lot of effort to build the body part, minimize the mechanism and make the structure sturdy, really happy to see how it turn out.
Hope you like this guitar hero I built.

Jimi Hendrix, my hero. Today (18-09-2010) forty years ago died the most influential guitarist ever. There are only four albums released during his lifetime. Thank god there was still enough unreleased material on tapes. So we can enjoy more of this virtual and unmatched guitarplay.

I don't know why, but every time he looks at me, I hear the introduction to "Purple Haze."
He's clearly yellow.

Best of Hendrix. Moon turn the tides!
pendientes hechos con papel plastificado, cosidos sobre fieltro. Con cosas que me gustan: Jimi Hendrix y la película Trainspotting.
Los cartelitos de la película son gracias a los folletos de publicidad de un hipermercado, jajaja
These earrings are made with laminated paper, sewn onto felt. The movie posters are from a supermarket brochure

Jimi Hendrix played on the Fourth of July and he performed his version of the Star Spangled Banner during a big fireworks display. Technically he played early Sunday morning on July 5 but it was still the fourth for us. I know this is not too useful but remember this was when ISO 64 Ektachrome was "high speed" slide film. Jimi Hendrix was an American rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Although his mainstream career spanned only four years, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential electric guitarists in the history of popular music, and one of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame describes him as "arguably the greatest instrumentalist in the history of rock music".
You can see Jimi Hendrix at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in New York's Times Square. It's a great place to spend a few hours!
