Bumpass Hell is a hydrothermally altered geothermal area that spans 16 acres and has hot springs, fumaroles, and mud pots. Never part of Mount Tehama's main vent, Bumpass Hell is the result of fissures that tap the volcanic heat (which is thought to be a cooling mass of andesite, perhaps three miles below the surface)
This was in March when the Sea is at it's coldest - I had just got out and got changed - it was really great. Something is wrong with my camera - vertical lines appear at full res.
Traditionally a rough midtown neighborhood, from 8th Ave to the Hudson River. West Side Story was set in Hell's Kitchen. Today it looks different.

For our anniversary, we stayed at Boulder Lodge in Boulder, Utah. At the lodge was one of the best resturants I have ever been to! The food was all organic and the ingredients were either grown right there, or there in the valley! Everything was presented very well and the food was delicious! I can't rave enough about it! While we were there their cookbook came out, so we had to buy one!
