The Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (HAMC) is a worldwide one-percenter motorcycle club whose members typically ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles and is considered an organized crime syndicate by the U.S. Department of Justice. In the United States and Canada, the Hells Angels are incorporated as the Hells Angels Motorcycle Corporation. Common nicknames for the club are the "H.A.", "Red & White", and "81" (H and A being the eighth and first letters of the alphabet).
In order to become a Hells Angels prospect, candidates must have a valid driver's license, a motorcycle over 750cc and have the right combination of personal qualities. It is said the club excludes child molesters and individuals who have applied to become police or prison officers.
After a lengthy, phased process, a prospective member is first deemed to be a 'hang-around', indicating that the individual is invited to some club events or to meet club members at known gathering places.
If the hang-around is interested, he may be asked to become an 'associate', a status that usually lasts a year or two. At the end of that stage, he is reclassified as 'prospect', participating in some club activities, but not having voting privileges while he is evaluated for suitability as a full member. The last phase, and highest membership status, is 'Full Membership' or 'Full-Patch'.

Hell's canyon on the Oregon - Idaho border is the deepest river cut canyon in North America. From the He Devil Mountains to the river is over 8000 ft. Quite the ditch !
At the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in Baker City with Dr Balthasar’s Traveling Medicine Show
A fun day at the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, in Baker City Oregon exploring the Oregon Trail, pioneer and gold rush history and enjoying Dr Balthasar’s Traveling Medicine Man Show.. The Center is currently operating with Covid 19 precautions in place. The interior exhibits remain closed and redesigned interpretive experiences have been moved outside and take place every Thursday through Sunday with a combination of visiting interpreter performances and Ranger led activities. The Center’s outdoor trails and exhibits remain open to the public including the iconic wagon encampment.
The National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center sits high atop Flagstaff Hill outside Baker City Oregon, overlooking the ruts of the Oregon Trail still visible today in the Baker valley below. Located along the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway, an outdoor wagon encampment is the first sights visitors see when they arrive at the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. Other outdoor exhibits include a gold panning exhibit, a recreated Lode Mine, a historic stamp mill, and an operating blacksmith shop.

I got home finally after an arduous ordeal with MUNI. Those who take MUNI know that it is probably the worst public transportation system in America. So I look outside my window and I debate to myself if I should go to the gym or shoot. I think to myself, "shit I'm a 400 pound beached whale and I better get myself to the gym. " I procrastinate some more, and some more, and a little bit more and proceed to just sit on my fat ass procrastinating. I look outside my backyard window again and think I better get some exercise and get shooting.
Many of you who have met me know that I'm an obese whale so it was a difficult task getting myself off the bed and into the car to take that 5 minute drive to this location but I think it was worth it. :)
I stumbled into Sutro Baths Ninja, John (Louie Imaging) and his ninja-in-training brother, Andrew who were soaking up the sea mist and good light. When I set up, it was a nice 50 degrees with 30mph winds - just the way I love shooting.

Steel Stacks, Bethlehem, PA. Catwalks and stairways encrusts the core of this old steel mill. Climbing those would not be my idea of good work.

Death Valley
I was there for the storms and flood. I was at Rhyolite when the big one (10/18/15) dumped all hell on Scotty's Castle Road (about 6PM). I have NEVER seen the sky so dark, and I've see some big storms, being from Iowa. Unfortunately, my trip was cut short in terms of what I planned to visit, but I was able to image an event that was considered a thousand year flood. This piece was imaged on 10/18, near Mesquite Dunes, looking east, in the early afternoon, as the storm clouds built.

Hell is a group of short, black, limestone formations located on Grand Cayman. It is in West Bay.
The area is about the size of half a football field.
Visitors are not permitted to walk on the limestone formations but a couple of viewing platforms are provided.
We visited 'Hell' in April 2018.

Robert Montgomery (1904-1981) was left penniless at the age of sixteen, and became a mechanic's mate on a railway, a deck hand, and finally property man to a touring company, which resulted in a stage career. Played in stock for some time, mostly old man characters, and eventually reached New York. Film debut in So This is College (1929), while after Private Lives (1931) with Norma Shearer he became a star. Memorable pictures with him were e.g. The Big House (1930), Inspiration (1931), Hell Below (1933), No More Ladies (1935), Piccadilly Jim (1936), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (1941) and Here Comes Mr. Jordan (1941). From 1945 he directed films too, such as Lady in the Lake (1946).

This isn't actually called Hell's Canyon, but it mind as well been! Tons of beautiful things to photograph, but absolutely no where to pull over. So frustrating!!!!!
