Hells Gate Geothermal Park is set in 50 acres with a large variety of thermal features. Walk past steaming fumeroles and hot pools of boiling MUD so violent they are unnerving. Follow the footsteps of ancient Maori Warriors through the swirling clouds of steam, past the hot pool where the Maori Princess “Hurutini” lost her life, see the violent geothermal activity of the Inferno and the Kakahi Falls, the largest hot waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere. Here, warriors would bathe in the sulphurous waters to heal their wounds after battle and remove the “tapu” (sacredness) of war
This is a view of a "flats" storefront on 10th Avenue and 35th Street. While some of this area is being gentrified, this block is decidedly resistant to these forces.

My first go at Panchromatic 50 speed film. This is Ilford, in my opinion, at it's best. Sharp with minuscule grain and lovely contrast.

I am in Fixture Hell. Here's a drawing of the code I'm currently working on. I need to change the way the Access Control List (ACL) works. Without going into too much detail, to properly test this, I need working, interlocking objects for everything seen here.
I am strongly tempted to simply write a Cucumber step that says "Given the big hairy test fixture is set up" and in effect, goes out and loads up all of those objects, and to GET those objects I'm just gonna dump enough of the database to have one fully working ShopperReport. I already have fixtures in place for Organization, Manager, Store and User. It's the whole Survey (which defines the questions on a questionnaire) and ShopperReport (which holds the answers to a Survey for a given Store in a given Round) thing that's giving me fits. I don't wanna build generic fixtures for all this crap! I dont wanna!
Halp! Ideas?
Limbo, a border between heaven and hell. As someone who is at the border of becoming an adult, I often feel like I am stuck in a limbo between adolescence and adulthood. In this acrylic painting, the poppies and the dilated pupils represent a feeling of dreaminess that one experiences at this stage in life.

Hot on the heels of my two nights in a Cook Forest cabin, I dragged my best friend off on a hiking trip for my birthday in June of 2012. We decided to tackle McConnells Mill State Park on the Hells Hollow side, without any real idea of what that meant or would be.
Hi, Happy 2006.
I'm here again. I have sky, sky and more sky. And a litlle of sadness and boredom.
I hope you enjoy with the pictures.
